I I'm short on bread and milk so I hope soy milk and a peanut butter and strawberry sandwich will suffice

Where did you get the 10th gen Corolla S wheels from? I was thinking of picking some up to put on my girlfriend's 2010 Corolla LE since the standard hubcaps look gay.

I'm a little older than most people, but I remember (as a driver) when that got you 10-11 gallons, and that's even here in California.

Sheeet, I once filled my Escort GT with premium (92 oct.) at $.98/gal. US. Gas war between stations at a rather low $1.15/gal. average, when I first got my licence $1.15-1.30/gal. was typical, those were the days.

Man I cannot wait to show you guys my new wheels simply because it'll be hilarious. No, really, it's going to be hilarious. laugh.gif I'd have a picture for you today but the car needs a new alternator to get back on its feet and that won't be done until tomorrow. Once it's back in my driveway (well, apartment complex parking lot but you get the drift) I'll post it up.

Seriously though, prepare for lulz. The only people who could possibly guess it are the few who I mentioned it to specifically already. awesome.gif

Well sir, I do believe I have you bested. BEHOLD, EVERYONE! MY NEW GMR VEHICLE!

Grandma's Main Ride, that is. awesome.gif 1974 Ford Maverick. Ohhhh boy bet you guys didn't see this one coming. I didn't either so don't feel too bad. I'm still laughing my ass off in fact. But this is the replacement for the Z and the Touge Taxi. Less than $1000, owned by some little old lady in Berkeley since 1974, meticulously maintained and in need of some spot work here and there. Currently in for an alignment and fluid change. On the to-do list is a distributor swap and disc brake swap. After that, we'll see. The idea is cheap, reliable transportation and that's exactly what this is. smile.gif

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to laugh some more.

Hey, that doesn't look bad for a car that's almost 40 years old. So how would you describe that paint color? It looks almost like a very light shade of avocado green. happy.gif

My dad describes the paint color as "Mountain Dew Classic." I can't really argue. awesome.gif
