i watched them from raws torrent download (thx raws!!!) but theyre in japanese. got a good idea of whats going on though. are there any english ones out? i posted on my local forum the raws site for other initial D peeps to download it & one said theres an english translated one out already, maybe ill check kazaa.......
can someone who understands it break down the commentary briefly for us? |

Yes, that would be nice. I downloaded both episodes from Bittorrent (god bless) and was disappointed to see it without sub-titles. Nonetheless, I highly appreciate watching some new ID!

I just wanna ask, does Fansubs just mean 'Video files encoded with subtitles'? Or does it also encompass 'smi, srt, sub' files as well? Because the latter is what i'm interested in getting. I know that there's Korean and Chinese versions of subtitles already in distribution. And because I'm being impatient, I've had to resort to using a combined effort of my basic japanese and my (Slow and Incomplete) Chinese reading knowledge to get some details about what's going on, but it's annoying. 
Oh yeah the chinese video I got is stuttering but the original raw is fine. How long till we'll be seeing some English ones (How long do these thing take on average)? Or will some kind person translate and write out an English sub file from one of the available languages and post a link here? |

I have NO idea why the english subs are taking SOOO long.
when Gundam Seed was still airing. the raws would come out on the SAME night and the subs would be out the NEXT day.. I have no idea why this is taking the groups so long. |

well it is a lota work, and id isint all that popular a series among the hardcore anime groups. i used to serv for a bunch of anime chans and most werent too fond of it. most channels are too busy with other on going projects. i see it almost as a good thing because the longer it takes the better the quality is of the subs take for naruto for instance the earliest release usually dosent have the best subbing. i usually wait for anbu releases they come outa couple of days later because they take their time to get it right. weve waited this long for fourth stage so whats another week or so itll be worth the wait anywhoo
