Thus I can only assume he is joking.

Not an application in the literal sense. I only require that aspiring members PM me with their interest in the position. Otherwise, how would I know who wants to be a mod and who doesn't? If the interest isn't expressed, they are not considered.

I feel like a geezer. It was a lot different 'back in my day'.

Joking I think not. Also I think I'm perfect to be a mod for the music section because one. When it comes down to music I know what the hell i'm talking about and two, i'm not canadian. And three America.

Then Tessou would have to create a whole new mod group for the music section... Also, I worry for the bolded part..

Lebon is a good mod for the music section, but if he is to be replaced I don't mind having Alastair take over.

I would love to see Lebon duke it out, no-holds-barred. Perhaps instead of recognizing talent or pandering to requests to be mod, potential moderators could fight it out in a duel to the death for the position?

I for one love this idea.

I for two love this idea. Maybe a contest to see who can get out of Heavenly Host Elementary School the fastest. That'd take balls. Or maybe tongues, actually.

I propose a karaoke battle. It only makes sense that the music mod shall go to the one who dominates the mic the best.

You can air each contestant's performance every weekend and give the rest of the week for members to send in their votes via PM/Email/Txt/Calls (Txt Msgs and Calls preferably because that can make us Tessou $$$). Every week, the contestant with the lowest vote count will be eliminated until there is only one standing, and that person/bot/whateverinternetmonstrositieslieoutthere ladies and gentlemen will be the music section mod.

I WONDER WHO WILL WIN?!

I will, by default. But in light of such an event, I turn down the position. Thanks, but no thanks.
