I'm curious... I'm sorry if you already mentioned it but did you keep the final drive from the swap? If not what are you running now?

IMO I think I want the gearing to be slightly longer, with the amount of torque I was putting down before the turbo I think its going to be fun banging gears while racing down the straight on Willow.

I guess it's really going to depend on your final power output. Also if this is your DD then it will greatly affect things. I really just was curious... I'm unsure of what your own personal goals are with the car so I will wait until you make it very clear for me.

Actually I'm daily driving my '91 3000GT VR-4 currently but I'm looking to get rid of it. This car is going to be the center piece of my friend's company and it will essentially be a jack of all trades. Drag, road race and occasionally a street terror haha.

Mmmm up pipe...

Edit: dumkopf the r180s are the same diffs in an STi, I might be switching to an R200 to support my power goals later after I build my motor. The R180 in the back is kinda sketchy after 600whp, along with the stock STi axles...

dribble.gif Ok...I want one..bad. I'll trade you my soul for your car once it's finished! whistling.gif My soul is worth a lot! In mint condition too! AC blows ice cold! New brakes and tires. w00t2.gif Kidding of course...just wish I had that kinda cash. *sigh*

I helped build that beast, we did that run with a gt35r with 850cc injectors and a crappy sds all on pump gas with no water or alchy injection. just and fyi DC Performance has an awd dyno pack so if you need tuning just holla at your boy.

I appreciate the offer but I'm most likely going to be tuning the bish myself, street tuning ftw? I also have Sean at Church who is dying to tune it when its done.

Also, I called Cosworth today about the best pricing for their long blocks, and well... I got a killer deal that I might not be able to turn down. I just need to sell my stock motor to a customer. =)

Yup custom 3" V-band, Monday maybe Tuesday we are pulling the motor out of my car and selling it to a customer, which is going to get a Brian Crower stroker kit.

My friend (Who is also the shop owner) is putting in a 2.3L stroked 4g63 which along with the custom Water to Air is going to spool his GT35R fast as hell.

Not to many updates as of late, I'm working my ass off on several other cars and haven't had time to do anything with my car, but I did manage to nab a dry carbon hood from our time attack car and is going to be repainted to match my car. Super sleeper ftw? Pictures will be coming soon after I get my camera back from my friend.

Major Update: After stashing away enough money to finally move my project to the right direction, my GM6 was sent to a very top secret location.

Now some of you may be wondering, "Hey, where did you take your car?" Well... I'm not gonna give it away but here is a huge clue... lol

Another update is in-order shortly, after some more parts arrive. But I have yet to order my Aeromotive Top feed fuel rails and fuel pressure regulator, so that is top priority.

Some pictures of the cars that were outside RPM Performance which is right across from Yimi.

edit: yimis sti won 2nd place in the tuner shoor out, so your gc8 is in good hands smile.gif

Yeah Paul is excited about my car and our little project. They are doing a great deal of work for me at a good cost, plus I should be making a great deal of power on this bad boy. Lets just say... I'm throwing on something that rhymes with Sosworth fintake minifold.

LOL @ Uhaul trailer.

I had Christine on one of those when I took her in for some repairs before I came to Japan.

Good fun looking back at the rear view and seeing her go all wobbly.
