WTF mate? How long has 4 actually been out?
It would be sweet if they finally gave it some GT5-esque physics so as to separate the men from the boys when it comes to real racecraft. |

Agree Banken; I thought that it was strange that the 2007 release would get another sequel so soon. I know there have been problems with the IC cards in Japan, and that the players have trashed all the car profiles, but this next All.net release came as a surprise (rule of thumb, if testing now release for Feb'09).

I didn't really pay attention, but does it say there "Wait until July 8th, then begin Location Testing?" I don't know lots of kanji so I could definitely be wrong.
Interesting news, though. Sure beats all the n00bs thinking that Initial D Arcade Stage 4 Limited is 'new'. |

Will the driving dynamics be similar to ID3 where the cars weren't as drifty as ID4? I personally don't like ID4 because of the drifting and gearing/acceleration issues and stuff.
Jeez, first WMMT3, not ID5. I need to get a job at this rate. Can't wait to try out the game. |

i hope they still have the license idea that was cool and have realistic gear shift
like maximum tune no mater if it is a 4 or 5 gear the higher gear acts like nothing.. oh yeah and a clutch |

People were excited that V4 came out but how many really did play the game.Half of the people did play V4 went back to V3.And when I saw the game play of V4 i was not too happy so I hope V5 will atleast make the game play better unlike the super fake drifting in V4 the cars slide way too fake.Thats what killed it for me.

i'll give it a try as long as they add 3 things to id5: 1 give back all the cars they removed, 2 return the other 3 lost courses and tone down the drifting. ....maybe they should leave out the evo7 in v5, im rather enjoying the MFS evo3 :S.

More from the poster. Here's the large text on the top.
最速, 最強を決めろ! (translation's a bit wobbly, but it looks in the ballpark of "Choose to be the strongest and fastest") いよいよ[??? Event]開幕 (Finally raising the curtain at *f--ked up characters* event) *I couldn't for the life of me find any of the 2 nasty kanji that made up the event name, but I'm guessing that it's a SEGA event of some sort.* This is the large, legible text on the bottom half. 操縦性ー新!! (New Maneuverability!!) 新たなるバトル感覚を体感せよ! (New sensory experience in battle!) EDIT: Added in a kanji (感, which incidentally took me forever to look up) to the second line that I forgot the first time over. Now the translation makes a hell of a lot more sense! EDIT2: Added the top lines as well, since I'm such a nice guy. This post has been edited by Tessō on Jun 25 2008, 12:04 PM |

here's my wish list for ID5...
--ID4 data can be transferred to ID5 --it's like IDv1-v3, same game, just different languages (not like ID4 which technically was two diff. games for two diff. versions) --japanese version features are incorporated into the int'l english version as well otherwise i might not just try it at all... |

Too soon. They released D4 what, a year ago? IMO, the release of 5 should be put off until AT LEAST late 2009 or even 2010...

It's just an announcement. They can announce a game quite a while before it's actually released. I believe it's just on time, considering all the griping people have the changes made in 4. |

It's like all those movies the creator of Superbad made. Each were decent, but released WAY too quickly in succession, and quality was sacrificed. It's been announced, but a bit too soon to me. |
