i just checked the IR for akagi dh, CKF took akagi from korea with a time of 2'19"191 with his rx8

i wonder if SWK will try to retake the top spot..he had -.036 till cp3 in his last akagi video and if he kept it up ..couldve been a 2'19"18x?? maybe..this is getting exciting.

Well, didn't Odie say that the ID4 cabs were shipped out of HK a few weeks ago? I guess they must be playing IDAS3 for now. I wonder how an 18 vid would look... |

It's just funny since everyone keeps talking about 18's and none of you have any idea just how near impossible that is. It's not for me to say it can't happen or won't happen, but you guys make it seem like it's not hard for these guys. It's hilarious. CKF probably worked his ass off and lucked out just to get the .19.

Yah they shipped out the Japanese V4 out of HK 2 weeks ago and I heard that CKF is back playing V3 until the end of the week (V4 English will arrive hopefully).
I wasn't there to see it but I can tell you that from the previous runs he did after taking the top spot with the S14Qs, his rx8 hit 2'19"231 but never posted. On a few runs after that hidden record, I saw his time go red -0.10x a few times... I think a 19"0 won't be a problem but 2'18" will be like running a 2'54"5 on Sho. A one off explosive HUGE red passing CP3 and then heartbeat going up to 180+ kind of scenario. |

I can see 4 days 27 mins into the future and there will not be an 18" since English Version 4 has arrived pending unwrapping and installation.
All the major arcades have them in since yesterday but not hooked up yet. By tonight, everyone will be on V4.... also a lot of V3 machines have gone (to China - since everyone else up there are still playing V3). Pity really as I saw a huge red a few times on different CPs and with luck, could have had an 18"9 |

Agree there! I'd love to have filmed the 18 and persuade a video release but it's all over now. V4 has started and he's opened 3 new cars on the AS4 machine.
No going back really. |
