Hey, I decided to make a series video guides of advanced techniques. This is the first part, it covers(more in depth then the other video) the wheel jerking technique. This is still a rough draft, I did alot of this at about 3 AM so if you notice any issues - gramatical or in relevance to what I said in the video - please post it up here.

It should be in the media section of Ace Projects site within an hour.

Ace Project main site - http://www.aceproject.us/
Ace Project media page - http://www.aceproject.us/media.html

PLEASE right click the link and do save as, DO NOT stream the video, otherwise it will not work. Thank you!

Thanks Excel! Downloading right now.

EDIT: Okay, I watched it just now. You know, if I had access to videos like this like say, a few months ago, I think I'd be going a few seconds faster now at least.

The video was put together quite well, and it was very informative and helpful. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!

I just want to clarify a few things before I go to the arcade:

So what I do is feint, turn in, then brake while recentering the wheel. Then jerk it fully, and when I reach the apex release brake and gas?

(What I've been doing was feint recenter wheel then brake and turn fully. It seems to work, but not quite as effective as what I see in the videos.)

Feint>Brake+Turn wheel in slightly>(Still braking)recenter wheel>Finish braking and turn in>Gas + 5i4o at apex

Good stuff!

ACE PROJECT YEAH!

OT: Btw... I don't really like the background of the site. It's a bit harsh on the eyes. I'd like to suggest making it just one color. biggrin.gif

OT2: Post #2600... I've been on here for a damn long time. XD

Edit: WHOA SH*T! I'M IN THE VIDEO!

Thanks Excel. laugh.gif

lol, you would be suprised how it is to find videos that don't use eraser anymore, and yours was the only Happo video I could find(altho now I realize that I don't think the EG6 erases the tunnel turn on IB).

About the layout - keep in mind I'm lazy as hell and don't enjoy doing website B*TCH work XD I know it sucks, I'll get around to it at some point. Maybe we can have a team meeting and discuss the website crap at some point.

Thanks for all the comments so far guys, I don't know when I'll do the next one though.

is wheel jerking the official name of this technique? I have used this technique in just about every turn possible, i just never thought there was an 'official' name for this.
