These are just the courses featured in the prototype model. This post has been edited by Dem on Sep 2 2006, 10:55 PM |

Trust me, I'm a doctor. Group: Advanced Members Posts: 6,186 Member No.: 1,277 Joined: Feb 14th 2004 Location: Bay City, MI | Why's Keisuke above Sudo on Akagi... I think Sudo is still slightly more skilled than Keisuke and if they'e going by skill around the time of 2nd stage then Sudo is highly skilled compared to Keisuke... |

Thank god.. that cappo passing glitch pissed me off too many times... one funny incident was when the cappo was stuck to my car on myogi for a good 15 seconds.. like it was literally glued to my car.. I was controlling it because my friend was like "What the helllll, I can't control my car."

@IROKING:I know I'm a bit late in replying to this, but I seriously hope you've calmed down from this crap. They're making changes to the game, so just freakin' deal with it. You can talk against Ver4 all you want, but at least have replies to this thread that actually make sense and aren't full of cuss words. But if you're gonna spam it up, don't be surprised if you get slapped with a higher warning level, or even worse. ---- Back on topic... I'm glad they're making changes to the damn game. Screw eraser and TST... let's hope this next game is actually one that depends on how tight you can make your lines and how fast you can clear your corners without completely manipulating the physics of the game. Now we can't have any newbies randomly messing around with eraser and TST because of watching the better players who know how to use it. This game seems like it's gonna be more realistic... it'll be a whole new battle of techniques. I'm about to make this thread the Official Ver4 thread...

I mean, people after version 2 were like OMFG THEY NERFED THE DC2!!!!!! :'( :'( I'm never playing ID again! What happens? they switch to the rx8 or any other "god car".... That's what'll happen in ver4. somethings are going to get axed hard, some are going to be crazily overpowered... NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS FAIR!!!!! IMO fk eraser. although i use it rather liberally, it gets rid of annoying little fking n00bs who screw over the shifter by TRYING to eraser/tst and then smack it too hard when it doesn't work also on the prototype tracks...... at least they should TRY to follow the story, having kyoko and wataru racing on akina?? that never happened! and what about Kai's flying MR2 on iroha?? :'( |

I think its in a way much better position. but I don't like the new card very much, it looks kinda dull to me. It even better if we can form a team, kinda like in the anime you race uphill, I'll race downhill. |

IDW Expert Member Group: Members Posts: 111 Member No.: 19,435 Joined: Aug 10th 2006 Location: Update Profile | Dear IDW Forum, I would just like to say I have seen the best of this forum and greatly appreciate your support – and also welcome a flood of new subscribers to the Stinger. Sorry if these pictures have already reached you, I did not have time to scroll the new additions on this forum! Hope there is some information in here that is new, anyway, to the meat and what you have been waiting for: IMG3. The cabinet is the LindBergh Universal driver DX cabinet with the ALL.NET connection and a nice big flat screen. IMG4. Another view of the full cabinet. The system is based on the Naomi Universal Driver cabinet DX, but with improved seat, display and interface box. IMG5. A great view of the interface box. That is the gear shifter and card system (printer dispencer). IMG6. The view of the selection process, the car and driver selection and well as data transfer process from older cards (not operation on first day). Just to clarify some information: - Recommended (at the test) IC Card price ¥300 - the card is a standard ALL.NET 400 use card - The two cabinets are connected, and so player stats and games can be linked between sites (Note – as with all Sega and Namco ALL.Net tests the game is hooked up to AM R&D rather than another site) - Japanese ID.Net players will be able to check stats on mobile phone / internet - As we reported in the Stinger the game is cell-shaded Now this comment comes from the Stingers JAMMA pre-show coverage – “… the new ID4 represents a bigger out-lay of investment compared to the previous Namoi Universal cabinet. No upgrade kits will be made available, and the new cabinet is purported to be the price of the equivalent twin IDASV3 – What impact this will have on a International release, and or US operators buying the machine is yet to be determined. Likewise sources close to the Stinger suggest a motion base (ala CyCraft) version…†Hope this will be of interest. Communication with me from now on is going to be sporadic as I hit the AM Private presentation scene this week. But will occasionally check in. All the best, This post has been edited by editor on Sep 3 2006, 03:30 AM |

Anyways, I'd like to personally thank you editor for bringing us such up to date and accurate information regarding Version 4. It seems as though everyone on the forums have gone into a little exciting frenzy over this. note: Does this mean our data cards have erasable ink like that of Maximum tune? |

Request Title - PM Mods Group: Members Posts: 469 Member No.: 17,432 Joined: Apr 24th 2006 Location: Boston MA | I wonder if the speed is going to be like in Ver. 2 since they took out eraser/tst. I really don't wanna see a good time on akagi be 2'50 I really want to see some gameplay footage to see what the physics are like. This is to all the people disapointed about the physics being changed. If you play Ver. 1, Ver. 2 then Ver. 3 you will notice a huge difference. Each version is totally different from each other and pretty much all the physics have been different in each version. |

War Is In My Heart, Death Is By My Side Group: Advanced Members Posts: 774 Member No.: 18,401 Joined: Jun 16th 2006 Location: Ontario, Canada | aw mannnn, im not overall looking forward to v4 because of three reasons. 1) THERES NO ARCADES IN THE AREA. 2) they're going to change around the initial d psychics, etc. It sounds very interesting, but its basically like learning a new game. Thats probably my biggest problem with it. 3) ITS EXPENSIVE AS HELL! 200 Yen per play? thats like, 2 bucks US :| wow. thats going to take a toll on our wallets. Not to mention the card is 300 yen (3 bucks US) As for eraser and TST. im very glad they took it out. It'll give a chance for everyone to use different tactics on different courses. im disappointed though that you cant transfer.. that really sucks. |

So I'm guessing you would never like to own an imported car? Since you would have to exit from the right side of the car afterall.
