Using Battle Gear pictures and trying to trick people XD Plus, as Pasta pointed out, Hitmaker isn't even working on V4.

you know what would be interesting though. a traffic option.. that way you can play without traffic like normal. but also, that if you wanted to you could turn on traffic and there might be a car or two driving down the street. that would be kinda fun.

Does that image say you can transfer card data?!

Again for all those public and private apologies sent and posted – thank you, greatly appreciated.

Let me first say – yes, I understand that if ‘some guy’ you have never heard of comes on your forum as a newbie and makes a big statement your going to have questions.

BUT – I think the attitude of flaming that individual and going as far as insulting him and the service he has run for the last few years (an amusement trade industry e-news resource with advertisers and a very high credibility factor on breaking RED HOT news) is very stupid, and will do the flamers and the forum a lot of damage – not to mention losing you much good will, (before slagging it why not read ‘The Stinger Report’ first! its free!)

That said here are the other images promised. Just to clarify they are from correspondents to ‘The Stinger Report’ who also run a famous Japanese IDAS private fan site (these images are his property - and if I start to see them circulate round the web as this forum members work that will be it):

First off, we are looking at the Sega IC Card system rather than the original MCRD system (hard credit card against paper foil system)

IMG2.

We have covered in ‘The Stinger Report’ in detail the ALL.NET system that supports the card system, and we have heard that ID4 will now offer a fully connected system. Other games that have used the IC Card have been monster (Ghost Squad being the biggest outside of Japan).

IMG3.

Finally, you requested a big version of the image – the guys at the test-site literally went back and took another image (outside) for you. You will see the new vehicle detail (customisation) available – far beyond the manga original. You will also see the ALL.NET support. And finally you will see the official name (for test), and the new ‘card transfer’ feature (depending on how good is your Japanese!)


I think it’s the height of crassness, even when seeing the reality that ID4 has been on test and that I am bringing ‘exclusive’ images to a forum that flamed me - to go away and Photoshop fake images – shows a level of immaturity that I would have assumed the moderator would have dealt with! In creating that fake, is the individual hoping to try and rubbish these images I am passing on?

I just hope that that individual is not sulking because after throwing around flames and insult he now looks a complete fool? Or is it that they think they are the only person who should report ID news? Look, I am a member of a lot of forums ranging from games by SNK-P, Capcom, Namco, Sega and the rest INTERNATIONALLY – we do not get this level of crassness there, lets hope this was just a blip!

Anyway, lets put that aside and hope you enjoy these images. I will have in game stuff tomorrow, but I am in a hotel and the link sucks.

Editor, we really appreciate the fact that you are posting up these pictures when you obviously have the choice to do so.

But do you really have to rub it in that this forum has flamed you yet you still can give us this exclusive footage? Again, we really appreciate it... but we know that some people have flamed you, and some will apologize while some won't. It seems you want to rub it in just so the people who flamed you will apologize, when really that's not how it goes.

And for the record... I never flamed you. If anything, I called you out on your immature behavior for the previous thread you posted up. It seems your behavior has changed, which is a good thing.

how will the face be descided on the card? it it depended on what car u pick or r the faces alrady on the card and they come out at random like the cards we have now do?

Test-Guy say's Proto Design!?

it's just me or the FD is cell shaded just like 4th stage ?

Hmm. I've been trying to translate the poster, but my Japanese isn't so strong. So far, all I could decipher is the last line written in red and the line below it.

It says "Chyu nin gu shoppu de orijinaru chyuningu", which roughly translates to there will be a Tuning shop which offers original tunings. I'll try to work on the rest of the poster for you guys.

Looks good. Hopefully someone can translate that poster and more pictures later tonight/tomorrow.
