That thing is his turbo glowing like rudolfs nose. Hes saying he let Max run his starion up hill (the driver in the video he posted in his wrx), and has a video of that as well that hell load up later.

Havent been to GMR yet.. just TBC and Muholland.

I have a vid of my dad drving his RX-8 through TBC. but TBC is sooooo narrow. plus we were just driving through normally.

Baldy & Wilson's more fun. Less people leaves me more at ease knowing I have less chance of running into a car going up/down. Less interuption = more fun.

i have yet to see a cop within 10 miles of gmr. gmr is out in the middle of f**cking nowhere, there are no houses or anything so i guess no one calles the cops so they dont hang out there.

i had fun last night. lets see here its was really foggy which made it alot of fun for the poeple that know the road becuase we could haul ass off of memeory. then i the way down i did a solo run and as i came out of one of the corners there were two deer in the road i happened to just stop in time to to hit them. one took off up the side of the mountian and the other took off down the road so last night we had a starion and deer touge battle. lol in one of the turns his rear feet were slipping it looked like he was trying to drift. well anyways we ran for about a 1/4 mile and he jumped off into a turnout. then i got to the bottom and there was a white hatchi that wanted to make an uphill run so i fallowed him he had a 20v silvertop with a straight pipe exhaust. well about half way up the mountain he started to overheat and dump coolant onto the road which made things kind of slippery. i think he was going to slow to have enough air go through the radiator. but i was an overall fun night.

I honestly didn't know the roads were so great up there. I've been hiking there for a few years now but the roads up didn't look too interesting.

i almost hit a coyote once. i guess my lights are kinda dim and i didnt see it until it was almost too late. funny thing is that it just froze there for a while even after i stopped.

btw is there any way to save that video on to my computer?

Ah, finally, this site approved my join.

Anyway, I'm Max, that's me driving in the video. It, in a way, bothers me that the one that ended up online was one in which I had to yield to traffic, there aren't many these days who can keep up with my WRX. (More of a comment on the sad level of driving these days, rather than calling myself good...) That guy can be trouble sometimes, and even though I was keeping some distance, I didn't want to get into it at the top for not pulling off when he flashed.

I've also gotta find a new cam location. This one makes things look waaay too slow in the video, consider that I'm averaging 60MPH over the road and it becomes obvious what the problem is. I'll be using Mark's cam for the next one, too, it doesn't pick up wind noise like this one does. Car's broken atm though (bent a strut), so it'll be a while until another vid...

welcome to the forums max!

Well, mine's up in the same place, spot where the sunroof would be if I had one, it's just that it's too high of an angle. I've got a professional cam mount with a big pump suction cup, so it's only a matter of a new mount location. What I'm really hoping to do is use the three cameras we have to shoot one on-car and two external cams, to make the coolest video.

Anyway, hopefully my car will be ready soon, I'm goin' crazy without it. I'm getting the KSport dampers, they've been getting great reviews, very similar to Tein FLEX, and with my price, only 850. After that, HKS Hi-Power exhaust, up and down pipes, and reflash, I'll be making 280HP/285TQ, that'll propel me up and down the road pretty quick.
