I haven't gotten to that point yet, but i read on another thread that there are 3 choices for engines (im guessing under engine tuning). something like turbo, na, and something else.

I read that it really doesnt matter speed wise which one u choose, but can someone explain in more detail? oh and i remember that the engine sounds are different and shiftpoints.

for example, what is the 3rd choice? for NA is it 11,000 rpm redline? i also wonder what people choose as their favorite and why,

thanks for helping a noob. lol.

*Topic moved it IDAS4 question and answer*

If it says "they perform the same" like on my FAQ thread, what more do you need to know? If you still want the details, well here goes:

Racing Engine ---> rev up to 11,000 RPM. Has a meaner sound IMO
Turbo ------------> Gauge remains stock. You can hear BOV when you shift.
Supercharger----> Gauge remains stocl. The 4AGE engine sounds just meatier. Thats all.

yeah, basically its just like what Wolf said.
The Engine/BOV sounds are different, and Racing Engine gets you a
SEXY new tachometer smile.gif, that goes all the way from 1 - 13(:
but of course, 12 & 13 is the red part.

^What's the point in having 2 AE86Ts when all 3 step 7s perform the same?

I got 3:02:xxx with Supercharger, maybe I could get 3:00:xxx with 4AGEU,LOL!!! grin2.gif No lah just kidding..Actually the story begins here..

The day when I don't know about tuning..I think like this..Hmm,for starters I'd go with Supercharger, then I'd switch to Racing Engine, then I accidentally bought a spoiler..
It's all messed up..I want to make a Tak (Takumi)'s Replica that it turned out like this..So now I have 2 AE86Ts,one Tak (Takumi)'s Replica and one's TRD.. ermm2.gif

Ok so let me just clarify coz I also am nearing step 7 with my Trueno... the one with a different tachometer/gauge is the racing engine and the other two don't have any difference... right?
