use the break and hit no walls and keep it in the right gear or you will lose speed, just practise and you will get it over time....

I'm saying that because people new to the game seem to have a problem doing those things...

Akagi downhill huh.?.

Try the out-in-out technique...when you enter a turn...keep to the outside, decelerate and turn in...get close to the apex and turn to the outside lane again...

Try this in Time Attack first...once you get a feel...feel free to crush Ryosuke in LOTS...once you win him...i can say that you are almost there...

The most important part is to race with other racers...and learn from them...their cons and pros... smile.gif

Then you can officially call yourself...The Master Of AKAGI.... rolleyes.gif

On the V-turn, the wall ram technique can be used as long as your car's crash recovery is decent. If you swerve into the inside wall too late, you will hit the outside wall, which doesn't really matter much, though it helps. If you turn in too early, you will be pleased to see that the V-turn is much more forgiving than Irohazaka's turns and a hint of counter will put you where you need to be. Done properly, exit speeds should be 130ish [this is GC8V] and your rival will be going way slower than you at the exit. Until your car's engine decides to do well again, you should emphasize entry speed and try to let off the throttle as little as possible without hitting walls, because deceleration is rediculous with the engine lag. On all other parts of the course, not crashing should be your first priority. It does indeed have many tight corners, but one must remember that they all lead to long straightaways. 5i4o should be your best friend, and you can push that further still by prematurely shifting to 5th for the turns that could use a bit of 5i4o but you don't approach in fifth. Summary of big fat explanation? Akagi is more about considering the whole course rather than just the turn you're presently in, except for the V-turn.
