well it's slightly underrated, but it's damn good for 50k and since it's basically the ls1 engine it's easy to get more from it, but the stock block seems to cap at around 600whp. the zo-6 can run deep 12's easily stock.

That's pretty good. While talking about domestic cars, have you seen the SVT Mustang? I don't like them much but they are pretty fast.

the 03-04 svt cobra is a power maker for sure. people are getting 500hp out of them with just a pulley and chip and exhaust. they look great too imo, but i also think their interior is one of the worst, most uncomfortable for the money.

I just have never really lilked them at all, no matter what the body style was or is

just for the record.i think the first R35 concept was WAY sexier than the new one.

i don't hold much hope for these future sports cars. we are lucky to even see the new ford mustand and GT and the new vette. emitions and safety regulations are getting stiffer world wide along with much more invasive ECU setups (like the new RX-8 setup). i know car nuts have been heralding the death of the genre for decades but i'm starting to see it myself.

anyways, v6 supercar? eww. the NSX, 300zx-32(90's gen) and 3000gt are testiments to how "well" v6's worked out.

we might all have to start designing our own cars soon. Thats only if they stop making cheap sports cars. (tho if we make our own they wont be cheap)

coz someone has to make sports cars. and if the major car companies stop then who will give me my fix on cars.

Why would they do that?

I am confident that there will always be SOME kind of sports car out there. Unless something drastic happens like the gov. says that no cars can have any emmissions and we all have to drive electric cars(which won't happen anytime soon), there will always be fast cars made.

I bet some of these cars are faster than yours.

i wanna see the tango in id. its an electric car that goe 0-60 in 4 secs...and yes its electric and it handles like beast!!!! i dont have a loink but i saw it at the auto show...it has built in dual roll bars and a nascar cage it seats 1 person in the front and on in the back its like 2 feet wide and it handles like beast!!! so much for non sport electrics this car beats the vip[er in the standing quater damn fast

It's already a powermaker, since Ford underrated the amount of horsepower found at the crank, ~425hp to the factory stated 390hp...And the steering wheel/seating position/shifter relationships don't work at all for such a powerful car...The Tremec T-56 is a good transmission, but what's the use if you can't take full advantage during shifts?

As for ID, I'd like to see a Ferrari 360 Modena, since after seeing coverage photos from the first US-held D1 competition...
