QUOTE (Unknown Source)
My best friend is a manager at an at&t corporate store. He had to go into the store at 1:30am to allow some people to set up the display in his store
If he looks inside this covered display he will be fired instantly. Same goes for anyone else who looks in this display. When he arrived to unlock the doors and let the people in he was forced to sit in the back for 4 hours while they set this display up. His store was under surveillance and he was not permitted to look at the store cameras or go into his office where the cameras were. If he backs the tapes up to look he will be fired. The worker told him that there are only 25 people in the company that’s setting it up who know what the display is (if they talk they will get fired.) He was told that if the guy was to get pulled over while the stuff was in the back of the truck, the guy would have to do whatever he could to keep the cop from looking in the back of the truck. If the cop did look he was required to get as much information about the cop as possible, badge number ect.

He told me they were going to open it last Sunday then an email came through and told them no go on it. So who know now.

What could it be?

It's a bomb, and he's gullible. rolleyes.gif

I'd like to think it's something amazing, but it's just going to be another dumb superphone with a billion apps that I would never need in a phone.

They're called smartphones, not superphones. tongue.gif

And for the thousands of apps that you might not use, the one that you do will make up for it. smile.gif

One of those apps is WorldCard Mobile, for example. smile.gif

The only app I use on my phone is the one that lets me call people. I don't need a superphone for that.

Yes. Superphone.

Superphone is a term invented by Google to make its smartphone appear better than other smartphones.

And a relevant pic :

Some kind of mind control device or neutron bomb? Pretty stupid if they wouldn't let police search it. REALLY stupid.

Okay, guess that rock skipped a bit further than I thought it would before it sunk in. The superphone was a modification The Doctor made to his companions' phones so they could use them regardless of where they were in time and space.

And that pic ain't my phone. I have an LG Chocolate that has seen better days.

Too bad the term exist outside of that specific universe ( and is a term used by people who don't know any better tongue.gif ).

And I had no idea it was actually a term used in the industry. I always knew it as just another Doctor Who gadget.

Sorry man, looks like we were both unaware of the other implication of the term. laugh.gif
