I was thinking of getting the new 350Z my self when I saw an ad that said they started out at $27,000 US. Then I started adding in the options and it was like $43,000. So it looks like it going to be a toss up between the RX8 or the Evo. When ever they arrive.

I think the Skyline and G35 share the same chassis or unibody. Or was it engine? They have something in common besides looking similar and both being distributed by Nissan, I don't remember, too lazy to look it up.

my thoughts exactly... the skyline lost it's 'strong' look w/o it's rectangular shape type... and the circular lights at the back lost it's appeal to me when it's curved and stuff... oh wellz...

What are you talking about? It still has that boxy shape, just not as drastic as it was before.

lol..yeah it is the Skyline in Japan.

Obviously you guys know that Skyline come in many forms. GT-R is just one of them.

That i think is jsut the domesticated, luxury version of a skyline.

Theres also a skyline called GT-M I think? I dunno, but it's a single turbo GT-R engine w/ a cheaper price tag.

I think theres also another skyline called N1 or something like that.

Back to the talk about the 350Z and G35. If you look at the head lights, they are almost the exact shape. I guess you could say the body is a bit similar also. My neighbor just recently sold his 1997 Toyota Avalon and bought a 2001 Infinity I30(some lowercase letter after the I30 badge) pretty nice..when its clean.

Karasac posted the Nissan Skyline R35 Prototype as he said. Prototypes almost never, if never turn out to be the street model.
Jayson posted what looks like the R34 we all know and love with some areas changed.
And for that blue Skyline from the Nissan Motors site, thats not a GT-R or GTS-t i dont think. if you read the name above the car it mentions nothing of the sort. So possibly a new line of Skylines to come into the future.

And which Mustang were yall talking about? the ugly one thats been around for years, or the new 2004 still ugly but looking a little better Mustang?

While im talking about Ford, I want to see if anyone else knew that the RX-7 FD3S was partly made by Ford. If you look at the back of a say 98 Ford Taurus, look at the tail lights, and how they cross the trunk.
Now look at the same area on a FD. Same thing. I couldnt believe it when i first learned Ford owned Jaguar, Volvo, Aston Martin, and part of Mazda, and so many things...i was really disapointed...Mazda and Ford?! Who would want that?!

Yeah I was pretty shocked to find ford and mazda together too.

Some of ford cars like the probe used mazda's parts to run.

Ford also helped with the production of the RX-7
