What does one do when you don't get the table you want at a restaurant? Ask to speak to a manager at most, right? Nah, how about instead you repeatedly call the host "retarded" and tell your server you're not tipping her because of said host? Sure, that sounds good.

At least, it did for one customer at a restaurant in a large West Coast city.* An employee we're going to call Miranda watched the ensuing chaos take place, and her recap of the events to Kitchenette is staggering.

The table, a couple, came in during a slow time and was seated at a standard 2-top table. They then demanded they be sat in the lounge, which is a lowered section with cushioned chairs. Just one problem: ordinarily, the restaurant only seats parties of three or more at those tables. When the host informed her of this, the customer became irate and pointed out that there was a couple sitting in the lounge right then. The host replied that sometimes they make exceptions when people call ahead and ask, if there aren't any available reservations.

Oh, and it gets a lot better: the shitstain in question goes on a hilarious troll post as to how it's biased. I wonder why (link.)

To the scumbag, I only have one thing to say to you.

That customer was being a scumbag, but all that really happened was they didn't leave a tip. Sticks and stones, etc. Not leaving a tip is entirely within the customer's right, and had I not been seated somewhere my friend(s) and I would have preferred when we obviously could have been (and others after us were, on top of that), I probably wouldn't have tipped the normal 15%.

Tipping is a ridiculous concept to begin with. People should just be paid what they ought to be for their job. I'd much rather my waiter/waitress be paid fairly for the hard work they do than their employers make me make up for it out of my own pocket. That's sleazy, and makes no sense whatsoever.

By the way, anyone actually reading SJW garbage like Jezebel is hilarious in its own right.

Hey. She said there was manager.

The comments are brilliant. Everyone involved with this story is stupid as hell. As far as I'm concerned both sides are retarded and deserve to burn a hell of a lot more than my kitchen did.

Sounds like the kind of people who would file a complaint to the BBB for a car dealer that didn't have the car with the EXACT interior/exterior they wanted and wouldn't take $5,000 off the price of another vehicle because of that.

That's awfully specific.

Uh, it looks like the guy on the left is trying really hard to suppress a laugh but can't. So he just flips his shirt. At least he has a six pack. Very good.

Idk why servers/host can't just get pay above mim wage to deal with that bullshit. But that customer sounded really butthurt that they couldn't sit in their favorite spot, damn people make a too much of a deal about the sitting spots.
