Lol, its not like I can reveal it publicly or you want to have a lot more 1 minute times on the net? I'll think about it. Maybe I can talk to an admin here who can maybe email a solution (although I highly doubt that) to sega. Or at least they could create a program that if anybody clocked on any course a time under 2 minutes, it wont be accepted? Not sure if they will act coz the bigwigs will probably focus more on Ver4 now...

It's also on the happo ob with skyline and dc2 on top. They should have at least made it convincing like a 2'53 on akina so CKF will see if he can break it!!! It'll push him more!! If there's any room for improvement. |

They wont be able to control the time they make on the course in that way. Like I said its not a "hack". But I hope sega will take action. About CKF, I believe there is something to improve upon. On his WR run, on his last turn he hit the outside wall. and retained a 177 speed and finished 178 on his gauge. An old vid I have of YUET had him take that turn exiting at 178 cleanly and finishing the course with an almost 180 on the gauge. Imagine what CKF's time would have been if HE had that last turn...

IDW Member Group: Members Posts: 11 Member No.: 23,084 Joined: Feb 2nd 2007 Location: Update Profile | I'm guessing it has something to do with the "Boost" function found in the 2-player mode? Although it wouldn't raise speeds that much... Probably requires physical access to the inner workings of the machine... EDIT- I looked at the comments posted under the "hacked" times- what's going on? with comments like "大飲茶!800個無問題", "HEY!DON’T YICK! 加油800個", "Not fun, 1星期800個,加油~" ("not fun" indeed), "CKF SO SLOW.ar 早點回家睡覺" (I wonder if this is why they did the "hacking"), and "送給2KF的益仔文B 穿著校服勿進機鋪" I wonder if the purpose of the times was to get the messages to the top of the board for someone to read... A lot of the comments under the "hacked times" make mention of the number 800- like "800 in a week, keep going!" (it's the Chinese next to the "not fun" comment). I wonder what that has to do with anything. This post has been edited by jamar on Feb 15 2007, 07:43 PM |

I mean It is "Internet Rankings" afterall. I don't care how they get the times. But, to post them is curious. |

You should be worried about the other way around. Posting it is easy. About the "no computers" bit, I hope you didnt take that literally. What I meant with that is it doesnt involve and hacking. But they need the net to post the times right? This post has been edited by DamienWolf on Feb 15 2007, 08:47 AM

I still have no clue how the hacked times were done, though- it should be safe to tell now that it can't be done anymore, right (or is the hole still open and they will keep having to delete the times over and over again)? |

No... I'm afraid it still can be done. The times I mean. As for posting them, the only way they are going to stop that is that is if they add a filter on the site that does not post records lets say... below 2 minutes in Myogi or something like that. And to the people who are asking about how they did it, Im sorry as an ID player who hates what happened too, I really cant divulge it. I COULD probably tell it to ONE admin here just so he knows Im telling the truth but much better for those who know how its done to just focus on the real legit times for the courses. And to that one post before, no you still cant achieve those times even with boost on. I mean 1 minute? cmon.
