What the hell is Firefight Arcade? I've been out of the Reach loop for quite some time since I broke those two televisions thanks to it.

Its a playlist with firefight with different weapons FRG = Fuel Rod Gun, Fist Fight = Hammers and swords, Nade fight is self explanatory right?

There's a (Bungie-blessed) project out there called Vanity that allows you to build the SPARTAN of your dreams on the fly. It also conveniently calculates how many credits it will cost you to build that permutation in the game, as well as what rank you will have to be in order to use the parts you want.

Besides that helmet, I'm not really sure what else to do to my Spartan. In Halo 3, I favored the EVA helmet despite the obvious drawback. Now I can't let go of the EOD helmet. I don't think I'll be doing much upgrades to my Spartan. :/

Also, had a good match on Rumble Pit a hour ago. Can't understand why, despite the numerious times I killed, they still proceeded to use the elevator to kill me, grenades and all.

Kill, kill, kill, kill, meele + kill, go to the next room to circle around them, kill, melee, melee, kill, back to the elevator, grenade, kill, kill, kill..... and so on and so forth.

I've been doing a lot of melee and DMR kills lately too.

Also, am I the only one that hears the little tune that plays whenever you get the hammer in Brawl, but in Reach instead? It is, literally, the best kind of fun I've ever had. Too bad they took down Firefight Arcade though.

The only armory things I'm actually looking at are the Mjolnir MkV helmet and gold visor. Until then, ODST all the way. Slap a silver or blue visor on black ODST armor and you're ballin'.

F**k year, BrODSTs. I'm with you, all I want is the Mark V helmet and I'm fine. Until then, ODST armor all the way. Even started a bungie group with friends named that.

Just went black-on-black with the Mjolnir MkV helmet.

I guess I'm not the only one having a blast with Griffball. Sucks that it's kinda hard NOT to kill your own teammate during the rush.

I swear this game is out to kill me. I bought the Noble Map Pack this morning, popped the disc in to play some grifball... and now the game is b*tching at me saying my NAT isn't open (it always has been and I've never toyed with it) so my game quality is shit. I played a single firefight game and made 3rd place through awful lag, about five pauses where the connection dropped, and some incredibly cheap deaths as a result.

Oh well, hopefully I'll fix it and get back into the game. I'm still just as skilled as ever in firefight, I just need the lag to go away so my shots are actually true instead of half a second late.

Maybe we should all play a game on Reach one of these days. Me and Ayako did.

Its so fun when I jack the other team's wraith/scorpion because they have to destroy it or else I get multi kills left and right. sniping with the Scorpion is mad fun.

I had a horrible game of Invasion at Breakpoint. The Spartan teams Scorpion spawned twice in less than 5 seconds, plus with the covering fire of snipers, we could not even come close to invade anything at all.

Though I'm getting the hang of Griffball. Once you got the ball, you're almost invincible, and all you have to do is melee at the right timing and you can pretty much scoot your way to victory, and also, keep an eye out on your surroundings.

I'm very close to becoming a Commander. Gonna take a break though before keep on playing through the night.

Definitely need to get together for some Haloan. My GT is derTraumer, shoot me a message whenever.

I'm not as good at Grifball as I used to be, apparently. I gotta get my stride back.

About 12 games away from ranking up to Major.

Ayako, 'gratz on promoting to Commander! I just noticed that you crossed the threshold by 180 credits earlier today on your profile. Keep it up!

Thanks, Tessou! Took a long while to finally get to Commander. Getting to Commander Grade 1 seems will take some time though. I should be alright with the way I've been going at it.

As for Griffball, I'm finally getting the hang of it, especially when to strike with the hammer, and how to work with your team.

Still hard to avoid hitting your own team as your mid-way of attacking your opponent though.

I think I'm going to change up a bit and go with a full Recon armor setup from now on.

Seriously though, yeah. F**k Iron.

There is a way to do it in solo though, but apparently everyone caught up with it. Mostly all the fights can be skipped or waited out if your patient enough.

The last one though, theres no way to avoid it. Just hide and let Jorge be the target of all the grenade, plasma, needle, grenade round fury. My recommendation though:

Kill that Red Covenant that immediately shows up to shower you with a barrage of grenade launcher rounds. If you kill him, then you only have to worry about the White Covenant with the sword, which if you do it right, he'll go for Jorge, and only Jorge, and you can just run back to the doorway and into the corridors and wait it out till Jorge eventually kills him....

...or you can just assassinate him when he is distracted by Jorge.

No more unlimited respawns. Die a few times and that's it, you're done.

f**k, I'd be in if my box weren't F'd.

I need to towel trick it just about every time I want to use it these days. A buddy of mine is going to sell me his for $25, but I'll need to do a disc drive swap on it before its usable.

Five hours we spent on that challenge. In that time I probably could've gotten several dozen thousand credits.

I am now the owner of a $180 new design xbox. Count me in for the future.

Looks like Griffball has been removed from the Community Playlist, as well as Firefight Limited.
