Still out of the question for the big N. They will never do it because Satellaview games were never in the US, as the attachment never launched here. It would only cater to hardcore fans, which this is not being marketed to.

Mind you, I would kill for an official release of all of the BS Zelda titles.

I'm double sold.

BS Fire Emblem was the first Satellaview game that got rereleased as additional content in 2010. So maybe, with a tiny chance and hope, in an ulterior future, other Satellaview games could be rereleased, too.

YOUTUBE ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAGVilt3Rls )

Trailer is out for the Classic NES. I love the last line of the trailer, truly the most nostalgic part of the video.

I would buy it just for the retro feeling, because I never played on a NES.

I'm interested in how many users here actually got a copy. Either the console was a limited edition or there was a damn huge amount of costumers, because the console was already sold out before it's release. blink.gif
If you look on ebay, the console's prices are up to twice or more of it's actual MSRP (damn those money-grubbing idiots!).
At least I was able to buy the console on Play-Asia this morning (for $84.99...), because they still awaited a supply for the australian version, but even this version is already out of stock (including the australian classic controller). facepalm.gif
Why didn't I pre-order? derp.gif

People were buying/selling them at around 400 (Last one I saw was up at 900)

So... guess the Nostalgia thing is hyped as fuck.

ON ANOTHER NOTE: Some company in Brazil is making the Genesis, only thing added to it? SD slot for 20-30 games loaded into it.

AFAIK, classic SEGA emulators come out frequentely. However, they have emulation bugs and other errors. So, it wouldn't be at the same level than the classic NES.

I repeat, that's what I have heard about the previous versions of classic SEGA consoles. I think it also applies to this new one, but I could be wrong.

So retro consoles sems to be a bonanza... Wouldn't be too surprising if other classic console generations get re-released as miniatures, too.

The "new" Genesis is officially licensed by SEGA. It's good.

The NES Classic is not worth it. Short cord, crap interface. Price means nothing when the product is worthless.

The only thing that gets me and other consumers is the games and the nostalgia. Its around 3 or 6 dollars for certain NES games on the Nintendo E-shop which makes this an instant bargain, but Nintendo messed this up like how they did with Amiibo which kinda is ironic to see that in the past, (quoted by AVGN in my knowledge) Nintendo sold their consoles and attachment like toys.

It's still not worth $60 in my opinion. It's not set up well. I'd buy it if it was $20, and available everywhere. Instead they made limited production batches as if they want ebay resellers to prey upon buyers.

Retail price is fine for what you get. Build quality is far superior to competitor TV Plug-and-play systems. Scalping prices are ridiculous. Wait for more production.

Talking about ridiculous prices: the highest so far on ebay is fucking $20.000. I'm not even stunned but kind of amused that such sellers seriously think someone would buy a $60 console for this price.
