... and they double-park outside of sushi restaurants and ... Image size reduced, original size: 5376 x 3024. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. They're great cars ~ they should be for the original MSRP of even the cheapest & slowest model ... It's just majority of Beemer drivers tend to fall under the peculiar end of the driving spectrum. ~ --- --- --- Also: I found this Ask RCR episode 5 in particular question Number 2's reply by Mr. Regular ~ not only very down to earth ... but extremely familiar & hit close to home. That is, what he mentioned about living in Alaska & how everything slows down & he found it weird that when he arrived at Chicago ~ he was amazed by the sheer urgency & desperation of men in business suits clamoring their hands on the info-counter cause of a minor flight delay. ... I remember when I was in a similar spot in a just as bloody cold icebox situation with no blanket & just a thin 5-inch thick mattress, and I had just written to NEO Mag in the UK thinking to myself ... Welp, they're probably never gonna publish my shoddy monochrome Hellsing fanart I sent on an envelope. And if they ignore the sender's address & do publish it one day ... well hell ~ it'll probably be months or years before that ever happens, and I probably won't even get to read that issue cause I sure won't know where I'll be by then ... so what's the rush ~ I'd imagine living in Alaska is a lot like being in the military ... except you're not getting payed for going thru that hell ~ or maybe I'm confusing that with another thing ~ This a really good Ask RCR episode if you have time hear his story →
Also Question #1 is a totally cool shout-out to AJ's car as Mr. Regular's fave car if he could only have one for the rest of his life ~ funnily enough ... Rome's fave car is an older model of my current daily beater 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee haha ♥ I mainly bought my Jeep to haul EMS supplies & shiz way back when ... but my old blond-cool guy Japanese teacher Chris (who looked a lot like Mr. Regular) & used to work as a JET ~ wore cargo shorts a denim shirt & had a stubby 5 o'clock scruff like Mr. Reg ... had a Jeep Wrangler. So that also was a minor reason why I wanted a Jeep whatever model back in like 2004/5 lol c: ... TMI xiao ... TMI again ~ This post has been edited by xiao on Mar 16 2017, 03:32 AM

Have to admit, this generation STi was a big head turner while I was in college. Especially if you spotted one in it's native Blue. Still wanted an Evo 8 over it though.

Saw an orange HELLAFLUSH example a few hours ago coming home from work. Missing left taillight, probably to accommodate the huge double tiered universal spoiler hanging off the ass of the poor car. He hooned out of a light change and got nabbed by a cop that was parked in the lot of the restaurant the idiot was going to. I laughed. Kids are too busy trying to show off their colossal penis to have common sense behind the wheel.

He really doesn't know what he's talking about a lot of the time. |

You're not alone, but thats why he's carved this niche out; it's supposed to be fun and entertaining. I don't watch him outside of being introduced to few videos as I'm not sold on what I've seen, but I already think he's better than Matt Farah, which puts RCR in a good very place as far as youtube car reviewers go. Thatdudeinblue and some guy with WRX in his name (don't remember his name, known for random screaming when he hits the gas) are the worst in my opinion, they're "reviews" for the swaglord, instagrammer. Essentially their videos contain as much substance as you'd expect from a twitch video game streamer, but for cars. RCR at least gives some insight on why he likes a certain car. As for opinions, if you claim to be a car enthusiast, your opinion on cars is 100% shit for the general populace. Don't take that as an insult, it's not a bad thing, very few fields of interests have hobbyists with opinions that are suitable for the mainstream. I'd say the recipe for a good automotive journalist is: 1 cup Grassroots Motorsports 1 cup Consumer Reports 1 cup the Dupont Registry 1 tsp Popular Mechanics, seasoned to taste 1 tsp of GQ or any other lifestyle magazine, seasoned to taste It takes a lot of effort and studying to hold a what I consider a 'Top Tier' opinion on cars in general, rather than the enthusiast whose expertise lies on one or two things. Outside of actual automotive journalists, there's only one person I know who I think has a very good opinion on cars, and he's actually a member of this forum, albeit much inactive. He's not banned.

I think he just needs a good video production team to make his quirky personality shine. But that's what make him RCR, he's the average Joe of YT car reviewers. It's his shtick ... which I guess some people find amusing. I'd rather watch Chris Harris or Tiff Needell to be honest.
In order of guessing game importance: ・ Sideways ・ Starion ・ Spaz ・ Grappler ・ Alex/TT ・ Sobaer ・ J'Kaiba ・ Nomake ・ Dori ・ xiao...?

Oh I never said he was the worst. There are far worse out there. Lemme add to the list: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8LsMvKJ-l8a8nASFsuH4Ww Anyway, I just don't get how he even comes to some of the conclusions he does most of the time. Like, uh...
Shit like this just makes me scratch my head.

Whaddya want me to do put two xiaos...!!? I don't like his POV vlogs either ~ I wonder why he never actually reviewed that '87 Supra tho ... --- --- --- Also I guess he's doing food reviews now ... →
I'd imagine that Marmite thing tastes like Nuclear Fallout Branston Pickle and/or Vegemite. (Notice it says Sanitarium on the jar...) He should do new movie or car parts reviews idk...? This post has been edited by xiao on Mar 28 2017, 06:53 AM

No Floh? Entertainment is the only reason I come back to his videos as opposed to real input granted his opinion on a few vehicles have been interesting. I'm honestly surprised he's stuck with his Honda Fit as long as he has. This post has been edited by RalliKai on Mar 28 2017, 12:36 PM

After all, people/companies/teams hire this guy for advice on what to do with their cars, so me putting him up high does make some sense. The bit about the power steering holds true for the '74 Maverick, too. Power steering so strong you couldn't tell what you were doing, but manual brakes. Thanks Ford.
