Okay so I'm going to be heading to an area soon enough that has iDv5 and I really want to get a card there however, I have a few questions regarding cars.

I'm trying to decide which cars to buy, I currently decided to get an FD since that is my main car in iDv3 and I could never part from it, I also decided to get a Trueno as the second car, as for the third car I'm still deciding. I'm leaning towards an FC however I am really curious about the Supra. Is it a good car? Is the FC a good car in this game as well?

Any suggestions on any other cars worth checking out? I am limited on cash and do not have much of it or time to be testing out cars :/

Suggestions and opinions are very much welcomed!

Also how does the game differ from version 3?

Also on a side note, just wondering, do techniques such as TST and Eraser work? (glitches pretty much lol)

there's sticky FAQs https://idforums.net/index.php?showtopic=41341 , and you don't even bother trying to read it...and create "that soon will be closed" thread, there's even car reviews thread.

both Supra and FC are good cars to handle with, hahah

in terms of gameplay and techniques,
you don't attack the corners at ridiculous speed anymore,
you go slow, to about gear 2 or 3 (mostly gear 2), at about 70~85kmph
Eraser and TST don't work in D5 anymore, it's pretty much glitch-free

and in D5, Cappucino EA11R is worth checking out

besides that, i will let the video do the talking and worth recommending,
you will probably learn many things from them,
