The driving force pro is meant for the ps2 right? But in the FAQ it says it's compatible with the game... I'm trying to save money and buying the Pro is cheaper then the gt and such. I just wanted to confirm that the ps3 is backwards compatible with the ps2 wheel. Thanks in advance.

It will work, when i was still playing IDES it worked just fine

Only problem generally would be anytime where u need the PS button which is normally in the middle of the DS3 controller (The GT has it as well). For this, have a DS3 on standby as controller 2

If I'm not mistaken I saw a video on youtube where a boy uses the G27 with extreme stage, so yes it should work fine with IDES.

Yeah the six speed shifter works, but it doesn't really do much good. The paddle shifter is better and more accurate.
