IDW Saiyan  Group: Advanced Members Posts: 9,139 Member No.: 1,205 Joined: Jan 31st 2004 Location: Dallas, Texas | I've noticed that when my turbo timer turns on during the day, the probability of it actually working is about 5%. When I say "actually working", I mean counting up. However, it almost always works at night and it's annoying. I don't know what the chance is of someone off IDW will actually help me solve this problem is but I'm giving it a shot. If I matters, I have an HKS harness wired up to a GReddy Turbo Timer II. Any takers? |

An alarm/immobiliser/central locking/turbo timer all in one unit (mainly first 3 since I don't use my turbo timer). Turns out 2 capacitors were cracked in the module & had to be fixed. Luckily the module was easily enough removed by looking under the dashboard, unplugging it & pulling it out. The technician then fixed it up, luckily for me this brand was actually designed in the same state I live in. Reason why it worked in the day when temps were warm enough but not when cold was due to thermal expansion/contraction.
