I first asked for a convertible Mustang (as it is spring break ) but none are available... So my choice now is to rent an economy to save money, and i have the choice between an Hyundai accent or a Dodge Neon, and as i just arrived in the US, i really don t know anything about these cars... I searched a little bit and found that the Dodge would be more powerfull with a better engine but less confortable and much noisy, whereas the Hyundai would be much more confortable and better inside equipment... What would you rent if you had the choice ??? |

I say go with the Hyundai Accent, Dodge Neon is a chick car. No, wont make the girls want to come and want to hook up with you, they will be yelling "Hey! I just got that same car! Like, oh my god!" |

The Accent is a little more creature comfort but has no snot as far as highway traveling goes. The Neon is comfortable although not as classy inside as the accent although it can keep up better in traffic then the accent. But it's really a matter of taste. Easy way to make the choice, if you wanna go a little more style, go with the accent. If your looking for balanced transportation the Neon is the better option. P.S. If your going to Florida beware the car with no driver. (aka the little old lady that can't see over the wheel) They're everywhere. |

And yea 90 percent of the rides in the US are auto, seems that alot of the drivers have lost touch with their cars. Plus most rental car places prefer the autos because of the wear it can handle compared to constantly replacing clutches in sticks. I would say about 40% of the US can't even drive a stick which is such a shame. And if you think the 6 stang is strong, get your hands on an 8, or better yet a camaro. Gives new meaning to the words "Our lady of blessed acceleration don't fail me now" |
