What do you guys think?... And no I don't want the answer "depends on what car you like". It'll be better if you test drived these cars before...

Not sure about the fastest FR but since you're looking for a car that can do both downhill and uphill well,(like an all-rounder) maybe perhaps the FD RS?

Where's the Cappucino? It's a quick little bastard too!

The RS built up it's overall best reputation with grip. If you want a new car to chase people down, well, that's your best bet.

Since the question is very direct:

Cappuccino. It's the #1 car.

If talking about pure rankings for downhill and uphill tracks (and not IB/OB or CCW/CW), then it's the Cappuccino.

If rankings hold true, FR cars are ranked: EA11R, FD3S6, FD3S, FC3S, AE86T, NA6C, JZA80, NB8C, AE86L, SE3P, AE85L, 180SX, Sil80, AP1, S13, S14, SXE10, S15

And for future reference, other ranks:
4WD cars: Evo VII, GC8V, R34, Evo III, R32, Evo IV, Evo IX, GDBF
MR cars: MRS, MR2
FF cars: DC2, EK9, EG6

and overall: FR > MR > 4WD > FF

It's still true that it doesn't matter what your car is, because the gap between the "fastest" and "slowest" cars are really close.

For Looks and Power, go for FDrs, for Cuteness and agile movement, Cappo FTW, Cappucine is magically boosted car, I had hard time chasing it during battle.

What car you choose to battle the cappuccino and what track? And what is the time between you and the cappucino?

It was Akina DH and I was using FDrs, I preserve my boost carefully yet I can't get close to Cappu until the final corner before goal and overtake cappu there.

If you want all rounders(DH/UH/OB/IB), then maybe you should get FDrs, the most popular car in IDAS.5.
But when it comes to battle, fastest FR doesn't guarantee that you will win, it always comes to matter of tire management and strategy.

because if i got the fastest car, then i will have the confidence to beat anything (although i need some time to FT it)
