> BNR34 vs CT9A vs AP1 vs JZA80, which is better

i just noticed that people either pick BNR34, CT9A, JZA80, and AP1 as their 6 speed cars and I would like to know if there is someone out there that thinks that these 4 cars are the only 6speed cars worth getting

Couldn't the other thread be made into a poll instead of starting a new topic? Seems redundant to do this when the other thread has basically everything except the vote count.

WHAT!? NO SE3P?!
Ah well. AP1 then. They're the same car when it comes to the tach; but since the S2000's a bit smaller than it's Mazda counterpart, I'll be cheering for that High revving NA.

If you were asking regarding what I would want in real life, there would be options and a lot of thinking to be done.

But if you're asking me because of the GAME, I cannot answer you with one car. Because all cars you mentioned above are respective course cars for their courses.

Since my goal is to get the best TA's, I do not have an inclination to have the "one car to rule them all".

I get organized and tune what I need. I have every course car back in ID4 because those cars are what I need to get the best TA's in their courses. Same here.

I would need to R34 for Tsukuba IB, the Evo9 for Akina Lake and the Supra for Nagao. I already have the AP1 for Tsukuba OB.

Because the only other 6-speed car that has a homecourse advantage is the GDBF.
Unless you are aiming for TA records, just pick the car for the looks/sound.

One's a 5 speed and the other is a 6. That, and the 7 is a Nagao UH secondary.

so the only difference is the transmission and its home course?
do they perform the same?

Just pick the car whichever comes to your mind first. There is no need to worry about car performances bcos they are about the same.

LOLWHUT?

DC2 is a 5 speed car, genius dry.gif

As for me, AP1 and Supra is a great choice for either one. For me I choose AP1 since I love High Revving NA small cars. cool.gif

Supra is for badass turbo-lovers, sadly I am not badass enough grin2.gif

Too true. GDBF not only looks great, but sounds great.

i have been playing ID5 for sometime using 5 gears car.. i tried the CT9A and GDBF.. dont like them one bit.. i get confused with the gear.. in the end when i play using my Levin, i drop it to 1st gear instead of 2nd..

so get a 5 gear car instead.. its the best choice for me.. dont like 6 gears.. confuse me..

I agree, 5 speed and 6 speed is totally different in the way you attack the corners. When i'm test driving 6 speed cars, i enter the corners in 3rd, 2nd or 1st gear and 5 speed cars just need 2nd gear. That's why i deleted my s2000...

lol playing 6 gear cars are not so hard once you get used to it... when i bought the S2000, its kinda hard to control since i drive rx7.. after a few plays easily get used to it and now i can drive both 5 and 6 gear cars happily... laugh.gif
