Then after a while the light when up again and he could see better. Did he just turn off the headlights? Or is it just a glitch? It'll be cool if we could turn off the headlights. But seeing how dark the screen became was scary. |

Simply press it again (no need to hold) to turn it on again. Works only during night or wet races. Btw, this can be added to the pinned FAQ since I don't see it. |

You CAN still see him, provided he's at an angle to your car so that the white part of his 86 shows; not the carbon fiber. He'll also get a monster boost at that point. |

it works better in this version against human opponents than before... the car behind if he turns off headlights will go really really dark. so he will only be very lightly ghostly visible if hes bumper to bumper. better yet.. it works with all cars now... not only black cars... white cars turning off headlights were a joke last time downside is for the person turning off the headlight... it goes really really dark too!!

True, I saw it before. I thought the whole screen blacked out. WAIT! What if the player with headlights on switched to third person? Would that player be able to see the car then?

And I think if people were to focus on both blocking the car and what's infront of them, they'll surely fail at one of them. Or both. If you crash then surely the car would zoom off. |

But IMO, there's not really much advantage if it's on the case of PRO VS PRO, they won't be spooked by turning off headlights, and they would know what Line You would take on Blind Attack too |

Blind attacked a GC8 with Boost On in Tsukuba OB; since it's the only safe way to use it; and right after CP4 too. I wish I could have seen his face when he saw the lights in his rear mirror go out, then feel the pressure on his right side as my car took the gutter and.... ...ahem. Well yeah. Gutter's arent all that hard to see, by now its muscle memory to my hands. |

Project Legacy Captain Group: Members Posts: 360 Member No.: 25,395 Joined: Jul 19th 2007 Location: Downtown L.A. | Blink Attack is so much fun now. you really disappear. I remember my cousin was racing Takumi on Akina and Takumi used the blind attack. I remember being able to see the white parts of the Trueno but at one point he completely disappeared. at the second to last turn his head lights appeared and spooked my cousin causing Takumi to pass on the inside. I was staring at the rear view mirror the entire time and it surprised me. After watching the replay Takumi was right on his bumper and that made it seem like he vanished. (paradox) So the closer you are to his bumber the more your car begins to fade. As long as i'm close to the other car I could drive with my lights off but if he gets to far then i'm surrounded by darkness and crash. sorry if I wrote to much but Blind attack is really fun this version. |

I agree, there's one time i raced my brother with boost off. After the cp4 i used the blind attack, he's not surprised since he battled takumi before. I followed him closely and then he fasten his pace and i can't see his light anymore. I paniced and crashed. Good experience though...
