QUOTE (Instant-Noodlez @ Jun 9 2004, 12:12 AM)
FC is more drifty than FD
i dunnoz y it understeers i just know there's a difference in turning.

most hairpins on iro should be taken in 3rd wit both cars.

Well actually I can treat my FC like my DC2 on Iro dh, same gear w/ DC2 in every hairpins, the only problem would only be a slower exit speed. But w/ FD it was like going straight to the wall whenever I tried to take them in 4th.

I can only do 2'43" with my FD3S on iro downhill. there are around 10 turns i take in 4th gear they are the long straights around the middle of the course (after check point 2 i think) and the last set of hair pins.

an RX-8?

you must be talking about version 3. If you post in the Version 3 section you might get some feedback on RX-8 driving.

yes dooboo its GAARA from naruto. are you a fan?

Well just to make it clear about irohazaka. the turns you can take in fourth is one before check point 2 and the next 3 turns then you can throw it in 3rd gear to do the series of short-cut jumps ahead. and then stay in 4th gear for the last 5 hairpins before the finish line. you can do low 2'43" with your FD3S.

(added the iro map below if you want to d/l and see)
