But I have these three amazing movies I wanna show, and only enough time to do one! So I figured I'd leave it up to you, the viewers, to vote on what you'd like to see. I'll probably show all three eventually, so this poll will decide what order they'll be shown in. That's it! Get to voting! This post has been edited by Nomake Wan on Jun 10 2009, 04:22 PM |

I was thinking the poll option and the title was another bad luck day. And why not show what we auto-nuts like to watch?

Yeah, when I made it, I thought it'd be Saturday. I blame SgtXDNX for being in Australia.
How about making a real suggestion? Titles, anyone? This post has been edited by Nomake Wan on Jun 10 2009, 04:22 PM

I +∞ that. Therefore, it wins, and you have to show it.

Oh hell yes. Please, for the love of the Fonz, play that shit. It's so badass that if they got anyone other than Jason Statham to narrate it, they'd die from the sheer awesomeness of the film.

If this forum allows that movie to be played, I will eat my face. This post has been edited by MattW on Jun 10 2009, 07:42 PM

I'll give you 1 K for that. But for the love of god, PLAY IT. I NEVER GOT TO SEE IT.

ShiMACHaze Group: Advanced Members Posts: 19,542 Member No.: 5,394 Joined: Feb 5th 2005 Location: Drydock | All of you who are naming titles not in the vote are hilarious. It isn't gonna happen. But lemme break it down, mmkay? Kamen Rider the First: No. Period. LeMans: I don't have it, so ask someone who's more into stuff like that (READ: HashiriyaR32) about maybe doing it for one of his shows instead. I have no plans of acquiring and showing that film. Wangan Midnight: Sure I could stream it, as long as everyone doesn't mind it being the original Japanese DVDs with no subtitles. Oh, and the fact that it's a TV series and not a movie. Unless you meant the live-action movie in which case HAVE YOU SEEN IT!? IT'S BORING. There's a reason they're making a new one, and it's because the old ones were terrible. As for the TV series, I've been thinking of doing a Saturday show again every week, but doing a sort of "Anime Club" thing with it. That is, starting early and showing two episodes of two Anime a week. Mainly because I want to introduce the forum to some series they may not have seen, like Hyper Police or Mahoromatic or stuff. If I decide to do that (and get permission from the Pearmeister), I'll make a thread listing the stuff I have available for broadcast so people can decide on what they want. I'd like to make it as democratic as possible. Wangan Midnight probably won't be an option though because I don't think people wanna watch it when it's not subbed. Truth in 24: HD isn't the issue. Both "The Sky Crawlers" and "Rebuild of Evangelion" are in 1080p HD and I'll be broadcasting them. Resolution is no issue when you have a rig like mine. However, I've never seen and do not have Truth in 24, so as with the others, it is not an option. Doctor Strangelove: Again, no.
Yes, it's the new movie, and it was created for exactly the purpose of making Evangelion more accessible. It would be a great start. Not to mention, it looks like it's winning in the poll so far.

More NEGATIVE than a black hole Group: ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 19,345 Member No.: 12,263 Joined: Sep 12th 2005 Location: Update Profile | I would just like to iterate here, for discretionary purposes, that this movie, if ripped from the stream as I've seen some of the earlier TV stream captures, cannot be posted here on the forums for distribution. I think it's obvious why this cannot happen, at least for public access. Personally I'd love to see the Evangelion movie. I've seen the other two already, and I always enjoy hearing that this one is making the series more accessible since I couldn't get into the series at all. |

A movie night? I'm tempted to do propose me doing something similar with some movies I'd like to share (such as Full Metal Jacket). |

Occasionally, yes. Before, I showed The Cat From Outer Space. Next I'll show Grandma's Boy, since people requested it. Then I wanna show Flight of the Navigator and Sky Crawlers. It really has nothing to do with whether something's Anime or not, but just whether it's a feature film or not.
