Leon and Chris Redfield will back again. The game outbreak goes global on November 20 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PC infection will follow soon after.

"The developers confirmed the third character, a mercenary whose identity is currently unknown. Capcom wouldn't confirm the character's name, but our sources indicate that the character is related to a major Resident Evil character in some manner.

Typical to Resident Evil fashion, all three major characters will also be accompanied by a companion. Capcom has confirmed that Leon's companion is government agent Helena Harper.

Much speculation has surrounded the identity of the unnamed mercenary character's companion, a blonde woman. Many people have theorized that the character is Ashley Graham due to the story's involvement of the president, who may or may not be President Graham. However, our sources have confirmed to us that the character is actually Sherry Birkin, daughter of Resident Evil 2's villain, William Birkin."

I still haven't beaten RE4... Does anyone have any general tips for me? I keep running out of ammo all the time! Why did they make the game super hard? It seems impossible for me.

But this looks really good! I'm looking forward to this now! Anyone agree that Leon is super cool?

Not shaved Leon make him 3x cooler looking forward to RE6, it seems it has few scenarios. Leon in US, Chris in China with his team.

But yes, I don't know why I keep getting stuck at a certain part of the game. It's like every time I get to that part. I'm either low on ammo, or have no items to help me. Do you have any tips for me? Because I really want to beat the game.

Well, if you keep getting low on ammo, maybe you should conserve it by using knife tactic and close quarter combat.

Shoot the head /arm/ kness, then get close then kick em then knife (if only 1 enemy)
Upgrade Shotgun, use machinegun only as backup weapon alternative to handgun, it didn't do much damage anyway. save Magnum bullets for bosses. Usually you can shoot barrel or other thing that will explode thus save your ammo.

I didn't type RS4, or if I did I have now fixed it. You are obviously confused!

All that aside. I would use the knife/close quarters combat strategy if I wasn't such a wuss can kept running away from the zombies when they come at me! And if I remember correctly (sorry, I haven't picked up the game in ages) knives/stakes and other close combat items are one use only.

I liked the first half of the trailer, then it went to Chris Redfield and the more action movie scenes. Still, I'm glad to see them revisiting the survival horror elements of the older games it seems. Going back to facing zombies.

So beside Chris and Leon returning once more, Ashley Graham is back as well, and even ( maybe ) Ada Wong. So does that mean we'll be expecting Leon doing a lot of running and Chris punching a lot of boulders? But there is something that's bothering me.....

You definitely want to get rid any of the chainsaw fellows since they are a menace. Iron Maidens are worst. There may be a chance you can just run away and ignore then to go to the next room, but you will be forced to kill them. Use grenades worth them. If you have the thermal googles, you can shoot the parasite in them. Also the knife and handgun are your best friend. Once you modify that Red 9 max you'll be set. Converse the ammo on your bigger and stronger weapons when you need them the most.

it's good thing Chris taking less steroid on RE6

I am surprised the turn around on the game has been so quick, well RE5 was released in late 08. It is still quite fast, I have not looked into the details yet, is there any chance we are going back to the original zombie plot ?

they're back using zombie, as you can see from the trailer.

Looks like there trying to appeal to the fanbases of both the new and old games with this split scenario between Leon and Chris. With Leon, you get a Raccoon City environment where your surrounded by zombies and have to focus more on survival while the Chris scenario is more akin to RE5. That's my impression so far atleast.

Not RE6 but another RE title to look at that's coming out in March.

I'm only interested in this game if I can run and shoot and the same time. I'm not asking for CoD level Michael Bay shit, here. I just want the option to aim and walk at the same time.

So I'm hoping this won't be a flop.

Is anyone getting that one with the throwbacks? Is't called Archives. it's got Code: Veronica X in HD!, RE5 Gold Edition, and 4 in HD and the DVD for Degeneration. I was a bit of a sucker for Veronica X.. but that was years ago.

Anyone getting it or just the regular one?

Got the collector's edition with the bag and bonus Merc maps, and definitely not regretting it so far, it owns pretty hard.

So reviews for this game are all over the scale. from 4/10 all the way to 8-9/10. This is why numbered reviews are just not the right way to go, I think a simple, opinion review will do, lets the reader read the review, look at the pros and cons then allow them to form an opinion on whether to pick the game up or not.

A lot of folks are talking about some game-breaking bugs that are marring the overall experience. Apparently a common bug occurs during one of Leon's boss battles that can essentially make it impossible to continue.

The game is, on the whole, quite solid and great in co-op, according to many reviews.

Don't ever, EVER, believe anything IGN or Gamespot ever says. Those guys are fucking crooks.

Weird, I haven't seen any bugs like that so far, and I've completed all three starter campaigns (and the respective boss fights a couple times). Speaking of, goddamn, I think Jake's final boss battle might just be my favourite anything ever.

And yeah, numbered reviews are bollocks. I've enjoyed the hell out of the game so far, and definitely don't regret picking it up, if only for how much I like the characterisation and decent control scheme.

I got my copy but it's just sitting there lol
