At least in 1U and TS, they have always been helpful whenever you want to buy a card. Especially in TS, though preferably try not to do it while they're busy. Sometimes they might be working on other things.

Only 1 technician in 1U (the indian one) knows how to fix and is helpful.

The other one (Malay with a cap on most if not all the time) knows nothing. Makes me wonder what's he hired for? Stare at the celling?

That technician, omg. Asking them to RESTART the machines, is like asking them to jump off the balcony like that. And when they reply to your request with "Tak tahu (I Don't Know", you just gave me 0 confidence that you can actually help to do something.

Question, does BTS have online yet? I'm curious because I want to know whether to update my EXP2.0 card there or not. I don't want to miss a chance the AA background. even if its just a background.........

Speaking of which, does any of the ID6AA in Malaysia even have online yet?

Ya the malay one.......... I think I asked him to fixed the steering wheel last time........... dry.gif

When I started ID5, I started in 1U. I did not even know the technician even needs to be at the machine to buy the card, but one was kind enough to help me out. I cannot remember which one though.

I wonder whether they fixed the gear problem? It seems to be the only arcade I know of that has it, Times Square and Sunway Pyramid both fixed it. Incidentally, its the only machine where I can comfortably browse the menus using the gear, both Times Square and Sunway is a bit loose for that. Makes me wonder whether the machine is set up like that in default and that it actually needs to be corrected in order to play without dropping gears randomly.

I'm mostly a grip guy in ID5 and can barely drift then. I'm really in trouble when I start ID6. pinch2.gif

You may drop by BTS or Sunway Pyramid for machines that hooked online.

For drift issue, you may start to train with Outrun that required similar technique to make the drift around the corner.

Outrun, ouch. I'm bad at drifting in that game too. The only game I know how to drift is Daytona, mainly because I've played it for 15 years. And its a different type of drift too, since high skill level drift with manual Daytona is gear based as opposed to brake based. sad.gif I guess I'll slowly work out with ID6, no matter how bad I am with the limited time I will have.

Good to hear online is there. Its been a dream for ID players for ID5 since forever I guess.

Greatest news I have heard of the day! laugh.gif . Now at least butterflies won't fly out from my wallet. I actually haven't been visiting TS from the time they increased to RM2.50. Was actually planning to go last Saturday.

I'm going to visit TS this Saturday and faster spam my NSX to FT. It's been a long time since I met up with the ID gang there. awesome.gif

Speaking of which, did they ever cite the reasons for the price drop? Not enough players playing? sad.gif

It was down to competitor pressure. After Sunway Pyramid's machines came and it was set at RM2, Cobay's 2 arcades also dropped to RM2. I guess they do not want to run the risk of losing business to their competitors.

That makes business sense I guess. Hope the new price works for them, I know it would for us.
