Not surprisingly, the 1'55 event record was a bug, Sega has investigated and deleted it. However they cannot change the event result page that appears on the machine, so I imagine some top event holders are going to be mad.

At least they fixed the world ranking record. Else the rankings would eventually become meaningless. Event record isn't much of a big deal.

so i guess im stuck with with no wings and aura then and after i finish teamside is there another part to the story like how they had chapters in ID6 ?

When you complete a whole team's TeamSide battles with 一流(1st tier) or better, the team's RivalSide battle is unlocked.
RivalSide involves you playing as a character from INITIAL D, and you are required to change the outcome of events that take place in the Initial D Universe.

There's an error in the next sentence stating you need to finish RivalSide to unlock InfinitySide, that is false, you only need to clear all TeamSide.

So today is the beginning of the Akina battle event. Played around 15K. Quite fun and found one area for my team for the National Domination Event. Eight more to complete the loop.

Barely slew two trolls (>3000 wins and >1000 wins) in A1 today. Feels good, man.

Made my second car (S2000) and full tuned it. Shaved a few seconds off on some courses in TA. Guess I'm not very good with Takumi's 86 (my first car).

Funny how some people are saying the 86 feels off i.e too drifty / too light.

Made a JP card with an S2000 since the refurbished machines were not EXP...at least I can use the cards at Round1 down in the states and have the campaign cars (advantage?). Planning to make an RX-8 and BRZ after.

It does, but I'm sure that's just because I haven't mastered the car. The pros don't seem to oversteer as much as I do.

Speaking of cars, which 3 cars should I keep if I were to be as "balanced" as possible (meaning having good times on most courses)? I thought I saw a thread somewhere about this but can't find it.

There was a bunch for ID4...but since you can have all cars in your garage now it doesn't matter too much.

Those 2 alone are strong enough, third will come down to personal choice / course car imo

Somewhat surprisingly the AE86s were surpassed in overall times.

Nice, looks like I already have the OP cars xD (even though it was purely coincidence). Probably getting the GTR as my third car then since I want to try a 4WD.

Wow just realized the S2000 tops the chart for 2 courses.

They also have weird connectivity issues between local machines; we think it's a bad ethernet cable but expect A1 and A2 to be 1-player-only machines

June 27, 2016 edit: Finished story and tag story on my JP card. Completed InfinitySide on EXP and JP. I'm tuning R35s on both.

Really disappointed in my runs today, failed all my goals of getting Platinum on Maple Line DH + UH and Tsuchisaka UH/IB

Next aim specialist on Akagi Uh and Dh, all the platinum are too slow, need to run at least SP to win others in online battles.

Just managed to SP Akagi dh and uh few days ago. Next specialist should be Tsuchisaka ob, another 0.408 to go.
