Well, to keep things simple... here are the rules...

-Only cars that have Straight-4 (Or Inline-4 in some places), but only with Front-engine, rear wheel drive chassis are allowed.

-Power is limited to 400bhp

-Aids are allowed, but Nitrous is disallowed.

-Usage of wings is allowed.

-Minimum weight of the cars are 1000kg

-The chart will be separated into two classes; R(Racing)-Tyre class (Only R2 and R1s allowed), S(Sport)-Tyre class(S3 and S2 allowed)

-Tolerance HP limit is +-5bhp

-Only Normal cars are allowed (However, if there is demand for tuners or race cars, then I will consider in the near future)

-Try to give a picture of your time should you end up topping the chart... (Stidriver's time in the Hot Hatch Challenge by Fin-Toy felt dubious)

Well so long it has a straight-4 (AKA Inline-4, 4-banger, Inline-4 Cylinder) engine it's allowed, The Displacement of the engine does not matter.

EDIT: Whoops, I forgot to add something, Normal cars only are allowed. Thanks for reminding me.

I'd like to request some more accuracy on the "tuners not allowed" rule... does it only mean cars bought from the Tuner Village or also "factory tuners" like Mugens?

I meant that if the cars are labelled as 'Tuners', they are not allowed. Each car is labelled to its status.

Fat Man, AKA Jeremy Clarkson:Although, I think I might have just a bit faster car in my garage.. it's slightly lighter, but still within the limits, hehehe. I shall try it out sooner or later

Good job. Good job. Anyway, I'll not be joining in the competition as I don't want to bias myself into the competition. I just recently has felt the biasness of a competition few weeks ago, which disgusted me thoroughly... That sickening polytechnic...

Don't worry, I just accidentally corrupted my GT4 file, 87% down the drain and all of my cars are gone. So, never turn off your power button while the damn autosave is going on. I lost all of my favorite cars and my Red F1 car... sad.gif

EDIT: Post erase - All my silvers and golds and my missions, all gone... 8-9 pages of cars (slow and fast), and it happens right when I pick up the controller all over again. crying2.gif

Hey outlaw, any chance you could make it so it isn't limited to I4's or 4 cylinder engines? There are so few choices to choose from if it's limited to I4's or 4 cylinders.

Inline-4+FR cars are limited? That's odd... You could use the ballast to increase the lightweight Inline-4+FR cars to 1000kg. That's the loophole I'm allowing. Well... At most, I can only change it to allow Inline-5 as well, but there's not much cars that has it (Audi Quattro, Fiat Coupe, that's it, and they're all not FR). Inline-6 just have too much advantage in their hands...

try R-class tires. that usually shaves second or two from the laptime.

in the end, it's all up the driver. good driver can do same laptime with S3's where average driver needs R-class tires.
