I have spent a lot of money on the arcades, but I would like to play idas at home. And I already own PSP and PS3 versions of initial d, but they don't really replicate the arcade versions well enough. I was wondering if anyone could link me to a emulator/crack for them with a copy of inital D8 or the newest version available which I could use on my home computer. My home computer is fairly powerful, and I heard that there is no emulating required. Worst case there is a Ringedge 2 with IDAS 8 available on eba, but that is only if there is no solution. Thanks.

Where did you see a Ringedge for $600? Last I checked they cost at least $4k.

The problem with buying the freaking machine is you'll basically just play TA, unless you somehow manage to convince Sega to connect the machine online.

They haven't even fully cracked D5 yet which ran on Lindbergh, so I doubt D8 and RingEdge is available. Even the D2 and D3 Chihiro emulators have not been able to emulate the actual cards yet IIRC.

In any case, the encryption of recent arcade games are really really really really strong and hard to break so no, there aren't any.

If you can get a Ringedge 2 or Lindbergh for $600, it would be worth it IMO. Sounds really cheap though.

Don't buy the SSD and chip from ebay, is old version and guy will not gave you support.

Visit Arcade Projects forums for more info on RingEdge games:

I can supply you a RingEdge motherboard with ID8 V1.2+D, for details, just sent me a PM thru arcade-projects forum.
