Living in the woods when it's raining in the dark. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,461 Member No.: 36,931 Joined: Jan 25th 2011 Location: Update Profile ![]() | Finished the adventure mode of SSBU. Can't really say I enjoyed it. The final fight was a total chaos because you have to fight against both endbosses simultaneously. Now I only have to collect all remaining spirits. There're 1302 in total and I own just around 620. This game isn't nearly as great as you think. Enemies and challengers are all super overpowered and most of the spirits are too weak (unless, of course, you fight against them) and useless. But the soundtrack is great! *Looks forward to Yoshi's Crafted World.* This post has been edited by Nerubian on Feb 11 2019, 01:29 PM |

Black Desert has a beta for XB1 that starts tomorrow morning that will eat up my weekend, and Crackdown 3 releases on Friday. Fuck. I don't see how anybody could possibly speedrun Witcher 3. It's too goddamn dense and everything starts to congeal in the middle where the amount of necessary fetch quests increases dramatically. Want to save Dandelion to progress in the plot? Here's eight hours of mindless "run across the country to find a guy that maybe knows something" quests. It's been five days and I'm still not at the big prison breakout quest to save him and move on to a major boss fight. |

Completed the Leon A scenario and am running through Claire B. Really enjoyable game and sets the bar on future remakes. I do have my nitpicks here and there such as one zombie taking on 2 shots to explode their head with the standard pistol while the next one I encounter takes almost a whole magazine to the head. This characteristic was particularly irritating when I'd fire a shotgun round at near point blank into the head and at times, still wouldn't put the zombie down. I also miss not being able to smash or kick a zombies head if one lying down grabs your ankles. Overall, still a great game and worth paying full price for. |

It would be a great game in 2010, but they delayed it all for the sake of a retarded cloud based multiplayer mode that nobody plays. The game throws out the old convention of "you can confront any of the bosses at any time, although it will be very difficult" aspect that made it a fun challenge. They instead replaced it with "bosses now are gated behind forcefields and cannot be hurt until you do two hours of busywork". Ugh. |

So this is a thing. But I wonder why they didn't choose A Link to the Past for a remake. | ||

I'm obsessed with completing the unique gear hunts, which end up usually not being very fun, but I want them for NG+ so I won't have to slog through them again when I'm at the appropriate levels for most of the gear. |
