Shmuck Group: Members Posts: 6 Member No.: 31,422 Joined: Dec 24th 2008 Location: Update Profile | for version 3 arcade stage, my main was an ae86 because i LOVE akina, and there's really nothing that can touch a well-driven ae86 on akina downhill (i was running 3'01ish in my "prime.") i also had a fully-tuned rx7 (the blonde guy) and bunta's wrx, but the former felt way too heavy for most courses and the latter felt boggy. i'm spoiled by the high-revving ae86 with takumi's engine upgrade :-) i just got extreme stage for christmas, and a driving force pro gt to go along with it (MANDATORY for this game...) so far i've only got the 86, and it's almost fully-tuned. i think my next car will be the cappuccino, just to see if it's still as excellent (and cheap) as it was in arcade stage. that, and it's not much of a jump from the 86. when i get around to creating a third car, it'll be a drastic difference for variety (likely front wheel drive; maybe the interesting new ITR that one of the LotS guys drives.) |
