I'm going to give you the low down on both locations. With Nanuet Arcade recently closing, they have lent their 2 initial D 7 machines to chinatown fair arcade located in New York city's chinatown on mott street. They just got the machiens there today, I'm going to head there later today to see how the machines are, how much it cost to play, and if they are linked or not. https://www.facebook.com/ChinatownFairArcade/?fref=ts I hope this new location creates a new scene that can compete with Me and the break arcade regulars. I hope to recruit some new drivers to get into this game ____________________________________________________________________________ The 2nd place is located in Dunellen, New Jersey http://www.thebreak.net/ (their website doesnt state they have initial D 7, but below you will see a link to their facebook showing they have it https://www.facebook.com/thebreakarcade The Break only has 2 machines, and they tend to have more racers than nanuet, but its great to play 2v2 or 1v1 with other people because the machines are actually always linked. This is a great place to test your skills against other players head to head, or to play 2v2 to build your points fast (900 per each race you win!) to get that full tuned car. Chair is now fixed, both of them are working perfectly. It cost 75 cents per play at the break to start and to continue. ______________________________________________________________________________ I'm usually at both of these locations alot, so I hope to see new faces there! Don't be shy and ask questions about building a car, playing with other people, or even technique. Ill do my best to keep the OP updated. GREAT INFORMATION FOR NEW PLAYERS Game play changes drastically all the way until your car is full tuned, don't get hung up on time attacks, have fun with story mode or 2v2 until you get full tuned. Learn the courses and perfect using your map throughout the turns. Then when you get full tuned, you can perfect your technique and start memorizing entry and exit speeds. Describes alot of information on the gameplay for initial D 7, including what choice to make when you full tune your 86. https://idforums.net/index.php?showtopic=47174&st=0 This post has been edited by ARMA on Nov 14 2015, 10:47 AM |

The test menu items are in Engilsh, and should be similar to the V7 test menu, in that sense. I'm looking through the manual at the moment. |

Even if you have 4 machines, and although it is possible to link all 4 together, in-store battles can only be played amongst the adjacent ones. For example: A1,A2,B1,B2 4 cabs in this arrangement A1 can battle with A2 B1 can battle with B2 but A2 cannot battle with B1 no matter what. Unless, the game mode is in-store coop tag, which requires 4 players in that case, A1 and A2 will be a team B1 and B2 will be a team |

I just updated the thread, last time I was there (last week) they had cards available. Then I saw Rudy's post and im not sure if he's basing his claim off of my original post, or what he knows himself. You can always call the break and ask if their initial D 7 machine has cards, their staff is super helpful and would be happy to help. Please post here to keep everyone updated when you find out. | ||

Never had a card, so no loss if they're out of stock. Rudy: PM me your schedule when you get a chance. Maybe we can catch up sometime. Arma is welcome as well. Either way, I'm excited about playing some ID again. Not excited to start over on a new card+car. I doubt my ID 4 or 5 cards would work :/ |
