An actual AS1 unit? I am infinitely jelly. I like how you didn't even mention it in your post. This post has been edited by kyonpalm on Jan 14 2013, 06:42 AM

All in this link here: http://avegaille.tumblr.com/tagged/initial-d The pictures there also includes my process or teasers in assembling that AE86 model kit and some other AE86s models I have. I also have some Initial D manga from Tokyopop (since it was on sale for like P50 so why not) from 9-12. It's hidden in a box... but here's a very old picture of what I'm talking about (some other manga here showing I don't have anymore) : http://i.imgur.com/38pdC5g.jpg I am somehow pleased with this mini collection as I don't think I can store the others if I had more. The model kit was a gift from my friend btw. |

I'm a new member here, and I was looking for Initial D related collections, and I'm glad that this thread exists. Allow me to share my Initial D Collection. It's small, actually. But I am fond of collecting cars that are featured in Manga or Anime. Image size reduced, original size: 800 x 534. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. The 1/18 AE86, along with the 1/43 RE Amemiya FD were bought in Japan back in 2010. The AE86 cost 10000 yen at the time, then the FD cost 5000 yen. I'm going back there this August (also in time with the premier of the Initial D movie), and see if there are 1/43 scale versions of the 5th stage cars. My priority is Ryousuke's FC.

Trust me, I'm a doctor. Group: Advanced Members Posts: 6,186 Member No.: 1,277 Joined: Feb 14th 2004 Location: Bay City, MI | I thought I posted in this topic before, but I guess not. Here's my collection. Mostly just the manga, some games and the DVDs.
and this poster that I never bothered to hang up because it's goofy as hell.
I wish I would've bought more of those diecast models when they were easy to find in stores. I've actually been considering working on this collection. I wanna at least get volumes 34-48 of the manga, and the rest of the Initial D games. Besides Mountain Vengeance. This post has been edited by Phantom_R32 on Jun 2 2014, 05:03 PM

~ Viz's Signature series is amazingly awesome -- check out a Volume of Black Lagoon in English from Viz whenever you get the chance Rain my man ~ the size, paper, and quality of their signature series trumps any Japanese release ~ it's just missing a dust-jacket ... otherwise if Viz released Initial D in their Signature line ... I'd buy every volume in a heartbeat! They need to print Initial D & Wangan simulpressing -- I'd be the happiest drift-weeb in all of cowboy world.
