Good idea Slightly tweaked it a little bit more, don't know if its better or not, anyway don't even know yet if this sticker project will be done or not

If we decide to stick with this logo or whichever, would we make a some type of file to be able to download it? Just wondering how would we do this.

The version I posted was really rough. I roughly selected the area in Paint and inverted it, so any refining is very much welcome. The original had all the potential, it just needed a little black box to bring it out. I do think that with this look, the angled end of the narrow stripe should be cut even.
Really excited that we finally have an idea everyone is agreeing on. Perhaps we can finally see a real IDW sticker! I know I'd get one.

I really like this design, can we keep it please pretty please? I'd totally stick it on my Accord to give it +10HP. Oh wait, do all stickers give you that boost or is it only certain ones?

IDW stickers give you infinite boost on your ego.

Hm, an ego boost huh? I don't really need those since its already a given fact that I'm awesome. Can't it do something else like give me free pizza slices or turn my car into an FD or something?

I can save it as a higher resolution png file to keep it's transparency, or I could also upload the psd (photoshop) file to keep the fonts and layers intact so if it ever needs editing, it can easily be done.

EDIT: I think the black text and lines should be changed to white (then the idforums.net changed to black) if this is going to be put on automotive glass so that it can be seen, just like Spaz's example of the Mitsu Style sticker.

can always offer both the current version you have for people without tint and then do an inverse as you suggested for people with tint.

I wasn't a fan of the stripes until I realized the significance. They'd HAVE to be black, trust me.

What's the next step?
Would we just need the OK from Perry to use this as the logo?

We don't have to settle on one single design guys. There's obviously a desire for this one, but we can keep brainstorming.
Also, Spaz is not only blind, but totally right. The stripes have to be black to be relevant. I wouldn't mind the decal on a solid white vinyl rectangle.

We could have some type of 2 month deadline for everyone to have a chance to show their ideas? We don't want it to keep going on for too long or will never come up with a logo.

I would like to have one before April if possible before my first race this season.

So what's the news on this? Has everyone forgotten about it or something? I'm looking into places to make these but I have no idea where to start or how to get the most bang for my buck.

no one seems to be posting other designs , I'll just post a finalized version of what we came up with if it ever becomes chosen and if this sticker project continues.
