nagao...hmmmm..... shifty2.gif lol brake at around a wide range before entering the corner so that you may conserve more boost...if battling, i would love to pass the opponent around the last corners... fear2.gif

Talking about Nagao, yesterday I battled with my friend. He was in front of me. And then the boost kicked in and the next corner is a hairpin. So, I ram into the gutter, use him as a blockage so that I won't lose my grip and hit the guardrail, and went out successfully! (This was the first time I execute this kind of move) The guys behind me were stunned by this move, along with my friend and my brother.

But he won in the end lol pinch2.gif

Like I mentioned above, you can use the gutters to your advantage. Now I realized it's not a bad thing that Nagao had lidless gutters...

I don't think you can do that since cars are heavy, unless you trick the enemy falling into it, then it's possible...

Normally I attack the gutters in Nagao regardless of situations. But if the opponent in front of me happens to attack the gutter but somehow screwed up in process, I'll just eat the outside line as quick as possible and avoid hitting him. laugh.gif

The gutters in Nagao are interesting. They help us take the inner line, allows us to have more control and conserve the boost for us. Nevertheless, it's also a major headache if you screw up because you lose everything i just mentioned laugh.gif
Just like Randy said, i'll take the outside line as well if the guy screwed up using the gutters. It's not like we are cheating doing that, right? wink2.gif

its good to have a gap like 30 to 40 meters from your opponent if they are in front of you when playing nagao....just to make sure he/she does or doesn't make a mistake....lol im talking about the starting only...in the end, i cut the opponent and finish the race... fear2.gif

I think the key of battling in Nagao is to conserve tire boost and save it for the last checkpoint. Cuz that's really where tire-conservation plays the most significant part of determining who would come out as the victor. smile.gif

Of course, this is just from my own experience.

from my experience, i noticed the person who stays at the front and conserver tires and good blocking have the higher chance of winning in nagao... u can save boost while your opponent in front of u but might lose in the end against a pro. smile.gif

Haha, I am not really fond of blocking others. If they want to pass me then I just let them; unless it's on the very end of course. That's where I'll start blocking. laugh.gif

Depends on the behind person also know how to prevent kissing the butt of the front.
Also boost on/off may be a factor.
