Talking about Nagao, yesterday I battled with my friend. He was in front of me. And then the boost kicked in and the next corner is a hairpin. So, I ram into the gutter, use him as a blockage so that I won't lose my grip and hit the guardrail, and went out successfully! (This was the first time I execute this kind of move) The guys behind me were stunned by this move, along with my friend and my brother. But he won in the end lol

Like I mentioned above, you can use the gutters to your advantage. Now I realized it's not a bad thing that Nagao had lidless gutters...

I don't think you can do that since cars are heavy, unless you trick the enemy falling into it, then it's possible...

But if the opponent in front of me happens to attack the gutter but somehow screwed up in process, I'll just eat the outside line as quick as possible and avoid hitting him. |

They help us take the inner line, allows us to have more control and conserve the boost for us. Nevertheless, it's also a major headache if you screw up because you lose everything i just mentioned Just like Randy said, i'll take the outside line as well if the guy screwed up using the gutters. It's not like we are cheating doing that, right? This post has been edited by TER~XD on Oct 17 2010, 04:28 PM |

Cuz that's really where tire-conservation plays the most significant part of determining who would come out as the victor. Of course, this is just from my own experience. |

Depends on the behind person also know how to prevent kissing the butt of the front. Also boost on/off may be a factor.
