AR? Sorry, my lingo of phone games aren't up to date.

Augmented Reality. The 'Pokemon Go' was the tip-off for that one.

i just find it very ironic as they focus 150% to catch virtual pocket monsters in the streets/building etc and walk around like zombies with no care for the real world. now they'll be chasing down virtual zombies laugh2.gif . is it homicide for zombies to kill other zombies blink.gif

Speaking of cellphones, I was thinking about getting a Nokia 8800 for fun after watching John Wick 2 but ..

I wonder how much these things go for nowadays? Considering the original MSRP was approx 1,000 USD back when.

Bodybuilders look the biggest and can max the most weight (e.g. Ryu, Ken, Guile, and Blanka).

Funny how you applied this description to those characters when it applies far more to Zangief.

Runners, swimmers, and bikers have stamina for days, but won't be able to really lift that much weight (e.g. Sagat and Dhalsim).

There's a world of difference between these two characters. One's a skin-and-bones yoga guy with elastic limbs and the other's a heavyweight Muay Thai champ. How you'd even put those two in the same category is beyond me.

Also, bodybuilder doesn't automatically mean maxing the most weight. People who focus on lifting max weight are known specifically as powerlifters.

"Look at these people, they're useless to society"
said the aging, recluse graybeard, who gained much wisdom in all his years.

"It is time to revel in the annual town banquet, should we tell the graybeard?" the townsfolk wondered "But, does anyone still own a telegram?"

"Not I" said the town mayor "We sold them away decades ago"
"Not I" said the shop keep "They take too long for me to use"
"Not I" said his nephew "I don't know how to use a telegram"
"Not I" said his last remaining friend "I prefer using the telephone now"

"Maybe next year" the townsfolk said "moving on..."

I think Zangief is a bit too extreme, but he would probably be the ideal character to make a point, so you're right about that. From memory, I remember Sagat having a large frame, but he wasn't bulky like most other Street Fighters.

Bodybuilders tend to be the bulkiest group out of those who exercise. They also lift the most. Powerlifters are the bodybuilders who lift the most out of the bodybuilders.

Sagat was comparable to Ryu when you account for how the same bulk would be stretched across longer limbs, and is easily much bulkier after his post-SF2 redesign.
At any rate, he's far more muscular than Dhalsim, and he's the furthest thing from marathon runners, who sacrifice muscle mass, explosiveness and top speed for being able to run long distances and getting to visit knee doctors in their future.

Also, powerlifters and bodybuilders are not mutually inclusive. There are plenty of powerlifters who look far from ripped (or even bulky) because their goal is purely to lift as much weight as possible, rather than achieving maximum size and definition throughout their entire physique.

ya got that damned right there Xiao, now where was that telegram club located in that school? i forgot which room number it was.

@Tessou: dont worry ive learned my lesson to leave such topics as comedic side notes/observations on how smartphones take away certain attention from RL. i just couldnt help that comment on the walking dead AR game though i held back the rest of my opinions on it.

We sure do get a lot of Italian guests in the online users list. I have to wonder if some of them are people wanting free eurobeats, or SEB artists slowly gathering names to put out hits on tongue.gif

Europe is kind of ghetto. It's not as dangerous, so far, as what the media make it seem. People have been pretty normal and reasonable. Nothing really particularly stands out.

The muslim refugee community has overrun many parts of the city and assault police and reporters. There are many examples of muslims assaulting women for not wearing hijab, or "looking slutty".

Real quick .. just wanted to extend my concerns towards Seri and Kyon. With the hurricane situation in Florida I hope you two are safe and sound. I hope your cities & homes are both safe as well.

If for whatever reason both of you need a place to stay, I'm all the way in El Paso, but my home is your home anytime y'all need it. God bless you my nekos ~
