I'm the type who likes to ogle my replays after I've run out of plays. This is something I do in all versions, and it just struck me how V5's replay angles are somewhat less focused on the action than on the background. Reviewing my V3 and V4 replays, they had the car in relatively large size with a dynamic angle.

In V5's Iro replay, you get a huge, zoomed out picture of Iro right before the jumps, without it letting you see how you landed on the first jump.

**WOOPS. Yeah, V6-V5. My bad.

I haven't played v3 or v4 either, but I do agree with you about how the camera angles on irohazaka can be inconvenient. Sometimes all that flora and fauna get in the way.

I do feel that the replays for the other tracks are quite good, though. I play tsukuba most often, and often study the replays to see just how my car's navigating the turns (Because it can be hard to tell, when you're actually driving, just when your front tire is a twitch away from making friends with the gutter. In the bad way.). V5's replays do an excellent job in showing me what I need to know.

i prefer the replays in ID5...

at least if you stay long enough, you can watch your replays again... assuming not too many people play on that cab...

unlike in v3 and v4 wherein you only get to see it once...

I voted for V5.

Reason #1, I didn't play V3 much to see the replays.
Reason #2, like brian said, in V4 you can only see your replay once. Tho it really doesn't matter much, as most of the time I also only watch my replay once in V5.. tongue.gif

I'd go for V5, although I played it only once.

The graphics look nice, and it's better than in V3 and V4. happy.gif
