Before you people start calling me an asshat, just read the definition of what ghost riding is and tell me why the hell anyone with common sense would do something as dangerous as that. I feel no sympathy at all for anyone who claims that they "rep the Bay" and say that they are part of the "hyphy movement", 2 of the most goddamn ridiculous concepts ever created by man. The less "hyphy" people there are in this world, the better.

Yeah, there may be gang/hip-hop problems in SoCal, but it's not as ridiculous as the "hyphy" stuff up here. I visit SoCal (OC/Westminster area and usually Long Beach too) several times (3-5) a year for the past 6 years, and I love it down there, there's way more things to do, everything seems so peaceful, it's just a place I'd love to live in.

I don't know if you've lived in the Bay Area before or not, but if you ever do, you'll quickly find that SoCal is 100x better.





Also, as a note to everyone else: Every region, every state, every city of the U.S. has gang problems. It's pretty normal. However, not every region, state, and city has a "hyphy" problem, which is 100x worse than your normal stuff...trust me. There's no describing it in words, but anyone who lives in the Bay Area (T.Cyrus and Error, to name a couple members) knows what I'm talking about. It's something that you have to see for yourself to know the true horror of.

well, almost every city. My city's "gang" problem is the "gang" calling themselves the "G-town G's", they are f'n hilarious. It's a group of about 6 white guys who couldn't be more trailer trash yet they all think they are black. Think Malibu's Most Wanted kind of stupidity. They all have rusted out beater cars, such as Grand Am's and Cavaliers. All of them get their "bling" at Wal-Mart. The leader is this kid I went to High School with, he holds a nice (Read: minimum wage) job at the local Sunoco station. He is the only one with a decent vehicle, but it is sill a joke. He has a mid 90's (94-95ish) Honda Civic sedan. It is almost completely stock aside from the purple "do-it-yourself" window tint, a wing off of a B-52, clear tailights, and a pearl pink paint job(oddly, it is one of the few ricers with a complete paint job). The only thing that looks like he actually did right was a set of O.Z. wheels, but they are like 15's if even that big. His Civic is one of the few around here that does not have a fart can on the back, instead he opted for the "take off the muffler" mod for that extra hp.

I do feel sorry for those of you who actually have a brain and live in Cali. I have quite a few friends who escaped Cali because of the never ending stupidity. I can laugh at the guys here, but you are just completly surrounded by it.

These idiots need to learn that music is made for your entertainment, not as a suggestion on how to live your life. You don't see Nirvana fans going around raping each other because they like the song "Rape Me". This helps me prove something I said a long time ago, most of the fans of "gangster rap" music are complete morons. I say most because there are still a bunch of people who listen to it and still retain some common sense.

I believe that music is one of the best ways to express yourself, whether it's making it or listening to it. For me, it's both. I enjoy playing piano covers of some of my favorite songs, and I also listen to music whenever I am on the computer (except when I play games). No matter how I feel, I can always play or listen to a song that can put my emotions into words when I can't put them together myself.

I hate people who judge other people by what kind of music they listen to. I listen to My Chemical Romance, Panic! At the Disco, All-American Rejects, and people assume that I'm emo. I really like the song "Shoulder Lean", and I listen to alot of Mike Jones, and people think I'm trying to be a gangster. You know what I'm saying? Just beacuse I like a certain band or song doesn't define who I am; I define who I am.

But it's alright, I say let those people think what they want. Sure, it bugs me, but I won't let it consume me. The more I stand out, the better. The way I see myself? I'm just a rebel without a cause. People think I'm different, weird, whatever. I don't give a damn.
