IDforum OG member Group: Advanced Members Posts: 2,156 Member No.: 141 Joined: Dec 11th 2002 Location: Ontario, Canada | actually i believe them to be supplying two types in canada. a 210hp 4speed auto. transmission and a 250hp 6speed manual transmission but it looks great, more fuel efficient, and still saves space for more room in the car. and this is what they said about the engine: "The new, RENISIS, rotary engine employs side intake and side exhaust ports, and has approximately 30% more intake area than the previous Mazda rotary engine. The engine’s sequential dynamic intake system and electronic throttle control system deliver high power unparalleled in a naturally aspirated engine, with fuel-efficiency and emissions also substantially improved over the previous rotary engine." the 280hp that i believe Jayson was talking about before was another RENISIS rotary engine that was in the RX-evolv. a different one. |
