It works with the PS2 and my computer... but this is the problem...

user posted image

My pictures are all pixelated and such...

Anyone else think it's my new card? Or is this something in the game that i have to adjust?

Thanks ahead of time.

Edit by Apex Carver:

I thought this would make a good sticky.

There was a thread a little while ago, about photo problems, and I thought it would be a good idea to sticky it... But for some reason it was closed... sad.gif

So here's a new thread dedicated to the purpose! wink2.gif

Yea if you didnt adjust it in the game... Like a real camera, increasing the film speed above 800 maybe over a thousand, and it should capture the motion without blur. Mess around with everything in the options in GT4 photo to get a crisp clear shot.

Update: I tried what you guys told me to do, and the pictures still turned out to be pixelated... But i figured if i shrunk the pictures 50% both ways, it would look clear.

Here's what the finished product looks like:

Just wondering, any USB flash stick should work with GT4, right?

Well, any new topics on the subject will be merged into this one. wink2.gif

Any tips to share?

FAQs on basic photography are also welcome, and will be edited into first post ( credited to right person of course wink2.gif ).

@ BOZZY : Some are known not to work, but most sub 256 will... wink2.gif

Bozzy, I bought a Kingston 128 stick from the York University computer store. It works fine.

I also bought an SD card housing which slots into a USB port made by kingston for my little brother's phone. So all he has to do is take the little mini-SD card out of his phone, stick it into the bigger SD card, and stick the SD card into the USB housing and then slap that into the PS2 and we have another USB flash drive that works with the PS2 and with the computer, as well as allows us to import and export movies, pictures and music between the phone, the PS2 and the computer.

The only problem i've been having is getting the bloody pictures to come out smooth and such...

Apex, was the thread that i made about my problem deleted? Let me unlock or something so you can merge it with this one.

(not double posting)

Would a kindly moderator or admin please merge this with Apex Carver's GT4 "Photo Help Thread"?

Thank You.

It's not going to get deleted Demon, you should know by now that most threads/posts won't be deleted unless they take up a lot of bandwidth (such as the music you are listening to now thread).

As for buying a USB key/flash stick, I already have one, I don't need to buy one, the only thing is that my brother got it free from work so I am not sure whether it is compatible or not is the problem.

True, sorry Apex, it's just his signature is real bad and I know RSD never posts in the Artwork thread...

Anyways, I'm gonna try testing out my memory stick with GT4 tomorrow, are there any specific settings I need to have set within GT4?

Photoshop 2 pictures together. Its the only way as far as I know. Otherwise save a race replay and take pictures with more than one car from that.
