I'll give it two weeks before hacks and exploits ruin the game's reputation forever.

As much as I passionately hate Treyarch, they've made a very public stance on how strongly they will be handling those who hack and cheat.

Well, the only way the hacks will be posted is from the guys who buy the J-Tag xboxes, that's about it.

I personally am interested in the Theater mode, I can finally make some shotgun videos. biggrin.gif

Don't really care for multiplayer; It'll be a side treat for me, but I'm more intrigued by the campaign mode, seeing how it's a CoD game not set in WWII...And since there practically hasn't been any FPS games that have even touched or incorporated elements of the Vietnam War or Cold War in a story, I'm really interested in seeing what this game is all about...

I'm guessing Black Ops. MW2 had over a million people online the first day, while Reach only had about 800-900k.

I think I'm gonna wait a few months before I buy Black Ops. Although it does look more promising than MW2.. I just wanna make sure there's no glitches or anything else that will make the online play less enjoyable. Plus, Gran Turismo 5 comes out the week before. I'll be busy playing that anyways.

Wait a few months and enjoy the glitchy-ness if they fail at it (And trust me, I got MW2 first day and it was a blast, then months later, glitch! biggrin.gif )

And Reach has it's own glitches, so Black Ops is going to be the new game for me this year (Besides Vietnam)

Reach has a few glitches, yes. Most of them are buggy achievement unlock criteria, but the majority of the complaints are that the playlists need some tweaking, which Bungie will be doing in a few weeks.

You should try and find a copy of an old PC FPS called Viet Cong. Had a pretty awesome storyline, even if the gameplay was ball-bustingly difficult.

As for Black Ops....we'll see. If the campaign is anywhere as near as good as MW2's, then it's a sure-purchase after I'm done with making the undead my b*tch in Dead Rising 2. I mean, come on, it has the L96A1. laugh.gif

True that. The original Vegas was one of my absolute favorite games ever. R6V2 kind of sucked IMO.

Hell yeah! I'll gladly take on LVU Campus with a Raging Bull, a G3KA4, and moxie. RSV1 was a far better game than RSV2 despite the flaws.

My favorite is the one where breaching charges can randomly decide to explode backwards and kill all of the operatives in the room instead of the goons on the other side of the door. laugh.gif

Four of the zombie-based maps from Call of Duty: World at War are being remade for Black Ops and will be packed in with the Prestige and Hardened editions of the game.

If your willing to shell out extra cash, you probably won't see these maps untill they release a map pack or something.

Also, no co-op campaign.

That's true.. I got MW2 first day as well and had fun. Then when December came around, that's when the glitches started to show... Like the Javelin glitch. lol

Maybe I'll get Black Ops anyways.. Little Big Planet 2 can wait till christmas..

GOOD. Co-op ruins the cinematic feel of a campaign like this. I'm sick of people thinking that co-op needs to be in every game ever made. It made Resident Evil horribly annoying, and would seem totally out of place in a game centered around one person's narrative being told in a cinematic way.

Coming out of that was Infinity Ward's reason to create Special Ops for MW2, which I found really enjoyable and an intriguing gameplay mode...MW2'S Special Ops and R6V's Terrorist Hunt are two types of co-op compatible game modes I wish more FPS games had...

You know, it's like I know that the glitches even exist on the PS3 side or else Infinity Ward wouldn't have released patches in the first place, but anecdotally, it seems like 360 players encounter more glitches on their side of the player pond, and hacking is surely more easier on a 360 as well...Always had me wondering what the hell I've been missing out on, since I personally never encountered a damn thing in all my gameplay... laugh.gif

They were there on the game release, so it's there on the PS3, but the only thing you wouldn't get is the infected 10th prestige lobbies and awesome j-tag gamertags.

I'm not denying the existence of glitches on the PS3 version, but it seems that the 360 community is complaining about both glitches and hacks, with glitches seemingly a comparatively more common problem...Which is the reason why I wonder if I'm just missing out on everything, because the only thing pissing me off about MW2 are shitty teammates and bullshit abusive players... laugh.gif

Yeah.. I haven't seen much stuff on the PS3 compared to what my brother saw when he played it for the 360. Besides the 10th prestige hack, javelin glitch and the rankings being all messed up. There hasn't been much on the PS3 until recently where they're doing these lobbies that unlock all emblems and titles.
