Yeah, I feel the same way too, it's better for some people not to train everyday, instead for an example a week later, then You're actually better out of the blue | ||

Reading is magic! Group: Advanced Members Posts: 2,601 Member No.: 30,700 Joined: Sep 24th 2008 Location: Philippines | ID4 is dead to me now. Powerplant still has it; but the right cab has no sound. Although I admit, it's much louder than the ID5 cabs; the gameplay was just...ehh. I couldnt really feel my car anymore; it was like riding a sports car for 3 years and then suddenly going back to an SUV; mushy and uncertain. At the very least though, I updated the RX8's image and gave it another ECU upgrade. *cough* |

I just beat some of my personal times in some of the courses in TA, and defeated Kenta in a dry race in Akagi in LOTS. My S2K's tuning is now at 7-3-3-3-3. |

'09... This post has been edited by brian_infinispirit on Mar 21 2010, 03:25 AM |

IDW Full Member Group: Members Posts: 46 Member No.: 25,752 Joined: Aug 8th 2007 Location: Ireland | [IDAS4 v1.2] I cleared Akagi today, took me 6 credits .. Kenta x 1 Keisuke x 2 - crashed on a vital hairpin Ryosuke x 3 - took me two attempts to figure out that he just passes on the outside on the last corner, so the third time I took a middle line through the last and blocked him. Won by 4.2m, I was exuberant. I recently switched from AT to MT, still getting used to it... my times are still slower than AT. Doesn't help that the gearstick is on the wrong side for Ireland! Got some cosmetic upgrades on my FD too, and now on the second engine upgrade. PS: My Akina DHD is ~3:27 MT, so I'm very much a beginner This post has been edited by Baza210 on May 11 2010, 04:22 PM |

IDW Special Member Group: Members Posts: 293 Member No.: 36,392 Joined: Oct 3rd 2010 Location: Washington | I spent about $30 playing IDAS4, I wish it was cheaper. I finished LOTS for the first time. I only had two upgrades on my car xD and I beat everyone. It took a few tries for some people like Project D Takumi on Tsukuba. I have to say that it was a while since I played IDAS 4. The first time I played it was in October of 2010, and then I bought IDES for PS3 in December. IDES and IDAS4 are two totally different things. IDAS4 has a lot more counter-steering, while IDES has barely any. I like IDAS4 better This post has been edited by k0oanz on Feb 20 2011, 07:05 PM |

Rage Against The Light Group: Members Posts: 470 Member No.: 36,515 Joined: Oct 26th 2010 Location: Jakarta, ID | Found a pair of ID4 cabs at a game center on a nearby mall... Too bad I left my ID4 license at home. Had two games for nostalgia's sake nonetheless. It's beyond slippery compared to 6; one has to be really in control. Also noticed that Akagi is really wide there, about the width of Usui in 6... Though I reckon it will be all but impossible to play if 4's physics get melded into present Akagi's road width. |

da true Hawaii GC8 Group: Advanced Members Posts: 3,348 Member No.: 14,482 Joined: Nov 18th 2005 Location: Hawaii, Oahu | so recently the arcade that i go to finally fixed the initial d machine. so i decided to play a few games. after not playing for so long i felt like such a noob. hitting walls left and right then one of my friends comes by and calls me out. instantly i jump back on the machine. we race on myogi. we were both horrible, fucking up like mad. i somehow managed to win. after that some of my other friends come by and notice that we are playing. i tell them that they fixed the machine, and just like that they jump on and race me. got beat on akina up. won on akagi down twice. none of us did a time attack. all we did was race each other. i can't remember everything but regardless, it was a fun night that brought back a lot of memories |

Hiretsuna rōjin Group: Advanced Members Posts: 6,779 Member No.: 16,670 Joined: Mar 16th 2006 Location: Montreal | played AS4 today and also ID3 had 2 happo time races, no happo times worth mentioning. Happo is just so fun to play on. i still play AS4 though every 2-4 weeks i spend 5-8 dollars playing it. have a FT evo3, 1 1 0 0 1 ek9 and 2 0 0 0 0 silvia k s13. i do plan to get the S13 to FT one day but i dont really bother to go seriously at it. i dont eject upon each play as i dont play that often though i do pick up the upgrades when offered most of the times. i play Iro alot and id like to know what are the best TA times to aim for. ive done 2 59.181 reverse wet night and im getting 2 57 xxx on downhill iro in some of the battles. these are posted by my ft evo3. i know they're a bit slow for what can be acheived but what are the best times for Irohazaka? i want to know what to aim for and most of the as4 ranking sites are AWOL. |

Not Without Incident Group: Advanced Members Posts: 2,803 Member No.: 22,878 Joined: Jan 18th 2007 Location: Someplace very violent... | LOL... so that little devil Migz has gotten me curious and checking out IDAS4 machines in our local arcades and Ive found out there ARE quite a number of semi-regular players again. Probably since IDAS6AA is so scarce, not to mention expensive, and most of the Arcades are just left with IDAS4. So... how was the experience? A whole amount of losing battles. Ive completely forgotten braking points, perform sluggish countersteers and have sloth-ish reflexes. Crazy but I made a new card (everything cheaper now) and starting from scratch again haha! Funniest (but proudest) experience? Being beaten by people I dont know who tell me they actually were just using techniques based on my old Akina guide (which I am re-reading again, LOL). |
