sorry this is the proper link http://www.gtrlife.com/_/gtrlife/2020-niss...-performan-r937 if the r35 is a supercarbeater, the r36 is aimed to be a hypercar beater (laferrari, porsche 918etc) but with 200,000$ estimated price tag, it is just a stone throw away from a 488gtb and a gallardo so....

At first I read that as "supercarburetor" and thought "what the fuck is Nissan up to now..."

That is, if you believe what McCulloh says. He doesn't work for Nissan and isn't associated with Nissan. The 'article' you posted is not news at all--it's hearsay. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

Well, considering my car's HR16DE has 8 microscopic injectors instead of 4 normally small injectors (and also instead of direct injection... dafaq, Nissan? Not like I mind. Direct injection is still somewhat flawed in design) I wouldn't put it past them to try something wholly unorthodox in the fuel delivery realm But on a serious note: I actually like this new... is this an R36? Are they calling it R36? It looks like the evolution of the 33 from the 32 model, which was the most gorgeous of the 'second-phase R-chassis' models by far. Seriously, I find its styling striking and less bland than the outgoing model. Just... the paddle shifts, man. I don't know if I can get past the 2-pedal arrangement. But then again, if I had the money, I'd probably go for a Corvette Z06 or F-Type V6 6MT instead. Hell, maybe even snag the Viper GTS-R. This car's always been about being the fastest, and, well... that just doesn't do it for me. Side note: Don't you mean +80HP? I'm not good at math, but 565 minus 485 doesn't equate to 20, and the old car had 485 HP. This post has been edited by Master0fMadness on Aug 7 2016, 03:05 PM

Seriously, if I wanted to drive one of those, I'd go and buy a Logitech G26, an Xbone and a copy of Forza... 4? 5? Whatever version they're up to now. It's probably more realistic than the real thing. |

Thats not the GTR .... thats the new Honda/Acura NSX. Everything in the NSX is all electronically operated.

The NSX has Electronic Power Steering (not electric assisted power steering) which makes it feel like a Logitech steering wheel and brake/gas pedals that feel like a Gran Turismo set up. The R36 would probably have that prototype shaftless steering column, if they could actually do it right.
