FC:
First to Second: 5000
Second to Third: 5500
Third to Fourth: 6200
Fourth to Fifth: 147-150 km/h

This is for the downhill. Remember that shift points can sometimes change on the uphill (If I'm not mistaken you shift earlier going UH). Also remember that on Irohazaka you should shift to fifth once you hit 130.

FD, I'm not too sure of.

I always just counted 3 seconds for the 1st three gears, then one line before the redline for 4th and 151 for 5th.

The Uphill will have later sift points cuz of tourqe.so the Dh and Uh shifting times will ALWAYS be different, yes, even on Usui and Myogi.

The torque analysis does make logical sense. But for some reason, whenever I play, my acceleration rate seems to drop faster than usual, demanding earlier shifts. It's strange. For example -

Usually the timing for a fourth to fifth shift will be 147-150. But on the Akina uphill, once I hit around 140 my acceleration slows to a crawl. Upshifting brings the rate back up again.

I personally shift earlier. Does it vary from car to car, or am I doing something strange?

FD

2nd at 6000
3rd at 6500
4th at 7000
5th also at 7000

shifting at anypoint later really doesnt make a difference, if your in 4th and continue past 7000 your speed increases to its limit as fast as it would in 5th, Once you go into 5th you raise that "limit". If you dont believe me just go time it urself.

actually if you shift at 7000 exactly the engine lags for a little bit in acceleration, thats why we shift at 7300 (or the 7250 line right after 7000 to be more precise)

hmm... no lag for me...and ive got a couple hundred runs on my fd (dont even know what card im on anymore lol)

Added: Besides if you try and shift at 7000 youll end up shifting afterwards.. maybe thats why i never have a problem (i wait until its at 7000 before i even decide to shift up) but either way... close enough if u ask me, i can outrun "buntamobiles" as u call em here

I'm so tired for midnight. But the Myogi speed is higher going whichever way the uphill big turn is. So you must shift later. *falls off seat* Nite everybody.

not for fd.. as ive said ive gone through many cards (through inspection) and ive practiced many times... the "true" rocket start was only in version one when you could shift directly to 2nd and fly.. haha nows its a time balancing act.

8V is 6, 6.5, 7, 155kph unless its iro 131. of course that all changes on the uphill.
akina shifting is slightly different only for the 1st shift which is at 5.6k
