to be honest, theres rarely anyone maybe 2 people max that can run within 5 seconds of WR times in 3rd person... its not like maximum tune where 3rd person is awesome, therefore not many ID people make 3rd person vids cos it means they will get laughed at by most of the crowd. if i see someone playing in 3rd person i dont even bother watching, many are the same. but having said that if i do come across any 3rd person vids ill put it up for ya -__-. |

to be honest yes. the timing for turning is much different than 1st person it would almost put my timing off if i tried to mirror what they are doing. im not interested in a 3rd person driver and never will be. |

| 3rd person view is fun to look.. not becos they are slow. its becos u can see how the car behaves.. (for eg iro dh jumps).. there are quite a no. of 3rd person view pros out there since the v2 days..haha.. u just have to see the right vids.. =P |

well watch out for the arrival of the id5 machines here in the philippines and expect a top notch 3rd person video from AURICK of Garou, one of the best[if maybe not the best] third person specialist in id4.  |

| brake on the hard corners and lift their feet on some easier corners. It truely depends on whether you can take the corner at ur going speed or not. |

nothing wrong with 3rd person views. there are a couple o pros here tho ran primary 1st person view... but is capable of pretty impressive 3rd person driving too... just go with whatever fits you best... even if you'll end up being the minority... but that makes you unique doesn't it? =P |

the last one. its easy to figure out cos it has takumi's head over it. same with other parts that the characters had. my mfs had kyoichi's head over it when it was the only step 7 option i could choose anyway lol. |

| well .. for the akina up hill .. ur can go youtube search d5 akina uphill rain 3'22'410.. after i see tat video.. i motified uphill dry skills.. for ppl who keep getting 3'20'xxx reason is u drive from 1st lap to last lap with 65% of normal speed, 35% of boost speed all i can say is, i've tested.. if u brake,let go acceleration or drive slow.. u will gain boost in 2nd-4th laps.. but if u drive normally .. u will get normal speed .. where else u will decrease speed at some cornering part. so if u wanna get exp.. drive more , practice more.. |

Well... looking at ES, that's tailored to Japanese people so I'm guessing it was based off of japanese IDAS4 physics. That being said, I was able to get a lot better times in ES than AS4 international. It may be that I played ES a lot unlike AS, but it may have something to do with the versions being a little different. |

hmm... it depends on how much is spend before getting used as opposed time... heeh... not too hard to get the basics and stop whacking wall. the hardest part is to curb the (BIG) temptation to floor the accelerator... >_< some people liked Akina first... but i went happo first to force myself to get over the temptation to floor the accelerator... lol... once you get past that... its easier to get to the rest. if you used to drive an Altezza, and loved it. it shouldn't be a problem with you this version either. its no god car that's for sure. its just very underused 6speed is challenging to get get right compared to 5speed in this version. |

If I'm not mistaken, the cabinets have a VGA/DVI output somewhere. I believe it has something to do with being able to attach a spectator's display as part of the Lindbergh specification ... probably more intended for games like Tekken. You would need a capture card connected to a laptop (or desktop computer if you want to go through the trouble. XD) I'm sure there's some kind of audio output as well, though I'm not sure what kind. Probably either stereo RCA or 3.5mm. You would need to talk to your arcade manager for permission and access to these ports.

I saw the nagao uh vid by IN and I also saw the record time on the top right corner as 3'14'6xx curiously, I checked the nagao uh record in Jpn and it's 3'16'8xx (on 21aug) did someone driving that machine ever beat JR time by 2 seconds? |

| Though I haven't play ID2. But I played ID3, quite interesting...but don't like those TST thing... ID4, was like having to turn the wheel and stick to the wall...not so realistic...and using the penalty cancel thing... I found the ID5 more fun & realistic to play...and one more thing the card doesn't expire...and more affordable to play liaw! One more thing is that AE86T is not the king anymore... I like my FD3S6. I'm going to buy my next car maybe Subaru.... |

| @Amaze8 hmmm. to me ae86 was never king for any of the past few version. started since v2 till now. i must say ID really plant the root into my heart. i just love all the version since it all ID. lol. @JJ ya miss the old day. back in v3 when i was still a noob and watching those pro play and try to copy them but just don't get it. lol. just like a baby trying to learn something by watching. haha anyway so far from version 2 till now i been loving the game. though i don't really collect comic series, cd, dvd and stuff. but ID was and still is the only racing game i like so far. |

1000$ @.@! In Korea 1play is 0.5$ and in some of the arcade shops, we can borrow the machine for one or two hours in Freeplay and the price is only 5$ or 4$.  |

XD And looking back, WOW...! I never knew we could ACTUALLY attack the gutters in Nagao DH! Thanks to the video left by Mio (Otherwise known as Phoenix Cypher), I now realize that I can attack the gutters at 80 km/h+ so I can avoid getting stuck. And after watching that several times, I think I get some ideas to run Nagao DH using a more suitable line. |

GEH. I still cant understand how you can tell when you're in too close or just right in those narrow little gutters at the start and around the rest of the course's uphill section. A wider gutter, I can feel well enough, but otherwise it's like Akina for me; cant ever seem to hold the car IN the gutter without having it move in excess and hit the wall. |
